IO Interactive has released a new video offering a closer look at the gameplay of their upcoming stealth action game, 007 First Light.
The trailer shows a little bit of new gameplay, but it mainly features footage from the recent State of Play presentation.
So, I was watching this video, and it got me thinking about the new James Bond game. Apparently, even though Bond’s famous for having a license to kill, you don’t have to actually kill everyone to get through it. That’s pretty cool – looks like there’s more than one way to play!
The developer explained in the video that the game now includes systems allowing players to target opponents’ feet to stop them, rather than eliminate them. This allows for forced confrontations without necessarily killing enemies.
If you’re looking forward to the game, this video is definitely worth checking out. It offers an in-depth look at how the levels are designed and explains the developer’s goal of giving players lots of freedom and choices in how they approach each situation.
