The third season of Jujutsu Kaisen is set to premiere in January, and it’s expected to be one of the biggest anime returns of 2026. The new season won’t only cover the Culling Game storyline; the anime will also expand into the real world with a significant crossover event. This will introduce a new story arc and bring the main character, Yuji Itadori, face-to-face with an alternate version of his mentor, Satoru Gojo. Though this crossover won’t be a movie like Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution, it promises to be a major event for anime fans.
Universal Studios Japan is launching a new ride based on the popular anime Jujutsu Kaisen in January 2026. Called Jujutsu Kaisen The Real 4D: Spinning Clock Tower, the attraction will put guests alongside Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara as they explore a haunted mansion and encounter a surprising sight: a young Gojo and Suguru Geto. The ride will run from January 30th to August 18th, offering a limited-time immersive experience. Universal Studios Japan describes the attraction as…
A historic, Western-style mansion with a dark reputation – people have mysteriously vanished there. You’ll join Itadori, Fushiguro, and Kugisaki on a mission as an assistant director, and witness something incredible: a battle between a young Gojo and Geto amidst a fight with cursed spirits! This story is brought to life with stunning 3D visuals and special effects, showcasing the intense power of cursed magic and the strong bond between Itadori and his friends as they carry on the legacy of those who came before.
We’ve revealed the main visual for “Jujutsu Kaisen The Real 4-D ~The Rotating Clock Tower~”!
A mysterious old mansion is rumored to be linked to a series of disappearances. You’ll join Yuji Itadori and the others as a supervising assistant on a mission to investigate, and witness something shocking…

Universal And Anime
I was really excited when Jujutsu Kaisen came to Universal Studios earlier this year as part of Universal Fan Fest Nights, along with One Piece! It was amazing to see these worlds come to life here in the States. While it looks like this specific attraction might stay in Japan for now, Universal Studios Japan consistently brings over huge anime properties, and they don’t seem to be slowing down. In fact, they’ve already announced Case Closed and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End will be joining Jujutsu Kaisen in 2026! Knowing their track record, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for even more anime experiences in the future!
I’m really excited about what’s coming for the world of Jujutsu Kaisen! This week, Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution is being released in theaters here in North America. And fans won’t have to wait long for more – the third season of the anime will be out in January. Even though the original manga finished its run with Gege Akutami, a continuation called Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo is already introducing a new group of sorcerers. While we don’t know for sure if Modulo will get its own anime, given how popular Jujutsu Kaisen is, I think it’s very likely!
