Robert De Niro is on the mend.
The Academy Award-winning actor attended a performance of Oedipus at Studio 54 in New York City on December 3rd, and was seen wearing a black sling on his right arm.
I was so impressed to see Robert, even at 82, handling his injury like a champ! He had a medical shoulder strap on all evening, and he didn’t let it stop him from meeting the incredible Mark Strong, who’s playing Oedipus, and the amazing Lesley Manville as Jocasta backstage. It was a lovely moment to witness.
Marlon Brando, the actor known for The Godfather, was seen wearing a sling because he recently had a medical procedure. His representative told People magazine on December 4th that he’ll need to wear it for a few more days.
Although Robert is recovering from a health issue that hasn’t been publicly shared, his career is thriving. TopMob News recently reported that he will star in a new Meet the Parents sequel alongside Ben Stiller and Ariana Grande.
He’s also busy helping to raise his and Tiffany Chen’s two-year-old daughter, Gia.

Robert shared with The Sunday Times in 2024 that he watches Ms. Rachel with his daughter and is the one who feeds her the bottle.
Robert De Niro, known for his role in Taxi Driver, considers being a supportive father to his seven children – Drena (57), Raphael (48), twins Julian and Airyn (29), Elliot (27), and Helen Grace (13) – a very important part of his life. He wants to be there for them through all of life’s stages.

Robert recently told Entertainment Tonight that the most important thing is to be supportive of your children. He emphasized that as long as they aren’t harming themselves or others, parents should offer their full support, no matter what.
He emphasized that even if you disagree with their decision, it’s crucial to offer your support and make sure they know you’re on their side, always.

Former Total Bellas star Nikki Bella shared that one of her breast implants moved after being hit in the chest by Piper Niven during a wrestling match in July 2025.
She reassured her sister, Bella Garcia, saying they would get the issue resolved eventually. Lupita Nyong’o, known for her role in 12 Years a Slave, received a diagnosis of uterine fibroids—non-cancerous growths in or around the uterus—in 2014, the same year she won an Academy Award for her performance in the film.
Looking back, it’s amazing to me how long people can keep things hidden. It wasn’t until 2025 that I finally shared my diagnosis with the world, and honestly, it had been something I’d been quietly struggling with for over ten years. It felt like a huge weight lifted when I finally opened up on Instagram.
She explained that many girls are taught from a young age to accept period pain as a normal part of womanhood. This often leaves them dealing with a common issue in silence and feeling isolated.

Okay, so this is something I’m hearing more and more about, and it’s a good reminder to prioritize comfort! The actress from Daisy Jones & The Six recently shared that she actually ended up in the hospital because of a hernia. Apparently, it was caused by wearing pants that were just too tight. A hernia is basically a little gap that can develop in your abdominal or groin muscles, and squeezing yourself into super-restrictive clothing can contribute to it. It’s a good lesson for all of us – style is important, but feeling good and taking care of your body should always come first!
She messaged Suki on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “You haven’t tweeted in a while!” Then, jokingly adding, “Have you ever thought maybe I wore such tight pants six months ago that I got a hernia and I’ve been too afraid to mention it?”

Savannah received immediate medical attention on the field and was taken to a nearby hospital for more tests, according to a statement from the National Women’s Soccer League. They reported that she is currently in stable condition and is alert.

Adam Devine revealed that injuries from being hit by a cement truck at age 11 continue to cause him problems now.
Oh my gosh, you guys, it’s just… heartbreaking. I was listening to Devine on Graham Bensinger’s podcast recently, and he said it’s been a total nightmare. He’s been having these spasms everywhere, and honestly? The doctors actually told him he was dying! Like, seriously, within the last year they thought he wasn’t going to make it. It’s just awful to hear him talk about it, I’m so worried about him!
He acknowledged that pain is temporary, explaining that his body has some minor imperfections and isn’t working perfectly.

He described a lingering tingling sensation in his knees and toes during a March 2025 episode of his podcast, Trading Secrets. He explained that just a few weeks prior, he was able to squat 295 pounds, but now he can’t even do a basic squat or stand on one leg without falling. He compared the feeling to having had a stroke.
But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”

In an Instagram post, she explained that she was accidentally shot in the face by someone else at a party. They fired a weapon unsafely, and she was hit five times, with one bullet narrowly missing her right eye. Brendan Rooney quickly helped her, evaluating her injuries and immediately taking her to the hospital.
The Kim Possible actor explained that a small piece of something got stuck behind their eye. Doctors have advised against removing it with surgery right now, but they’ll keep a close watch on the situation. Thankfully, their vision is currently normal.
The actress expressed immense gratitude for surviving a frightening experience. Amy Schumer is grateful for the internet, despite its often negative side, because it helped her discover a health issue. After noticing she looked “puffier” during interviews, she was surprised when doctors began commenting on her appearance online, suggesting she might have Cushing syndrome. They pointed out the unusual swelling in her face and urged her to get it checked. This prompted Amy to realize she’d been receiving steroid injections for procedures like a breast reduction and C-section, which could have caused the condition. She wouldn’t have known about it without the online comments. Amy recently shared that she’s relieved to learn her form of Cushing syndrome will resolve on its own and that she is healthy.

As a huge hockey fan and especially a follower of the Fitzgerald family, I was incredibly worried when I heard about the injury to Tom Fitzgerald’s son back in December 2024. He was unfortunately cut by a skate during a game and needed 25 stitches! Thankfully, he made a full recovery, and his dad, Tom, shared with ESPN how relieved they were. He said, and it really stuck with me, ‘We’re very lucky. I don’t wish that on any parent.’ It was a scary situation, and I’m so glad to hear he’s okay.

In March 2022, Hailey Bieber experienced a frightening health scare while having breakfast with her husband, Justin Bieber. She suddenly developed stroke-like symptoms, initially unable to respond when Justin asked if she was alright. She then realized she couldn’t speak and the right side of her face began to droop.
Although the symptoms eventually passed, Hailey went to the hospital where tests revealed she’d had a small blood clot travel to her brain, which doctors identified as a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack).
Further testing at UCLA uncovered a hole in her heart called a patent foramen ovale (PFO). Doctors determined the blood clot had passed through this hole and traveled to her brain, causing the TIA.
Hailey underwent a successful procedure to close the PFO and is now recovering well.

The same year Hailey experienced a health issue, Justin also faced one of his own. In June 2022, he revealed he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a condition that caused temporary paralysis on one side of his face, forcing him to cancel the rest of his Justice World Tour.
In a video posted to Instagram, Justin explained the virus affected nerves in his ear and face, preventing him from blinking, smiling, or moving his nostril on the affected side. He also shared that it was becoming increasingly difficult for him to eat.
Fortunately, the paralysis eventually went away. Hailey shared on Good Morning America that Justin was recovering well, calling the situation scary and random, but reassuring fans that he would be completely fine and was grateful he was on the mend.

As many of you know, Jamie Foxx faced a really serious health scare back in April of 2023, and he’s recently been sharing his story, which is incredibly brave. He described having a terrible headache one day while in Atlanta, and before he could even take an aspirin, he lost consciousness. He actually doesn’t remember the next twenty days at all! Initially, a doctor gave him a cortisone shot and sent him home, but thankfully his sister, Deidra, knew something wasn’t right and insisted on taking him to the hospital. That’s where they discovered he’d experienced a brain bleed that led to a stroke. It was a long road to recovery – twenty days after surgery, he woke up in a wheelchair unable to walk. He then dedicated himself to rehabilitation and therapy in Chicago. He’s incredibly grateful for all the support he received, saying he truly needed every single prayer. It’s a powerful reminder to cherish your health and the people who care for you.

The reality TV star shared that she briefly stopped breathing while running a mile during the first challenge on the NBC show.
She shared on the show Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser that her memory of the event was fragmented. She recalled hearing a helicopter, feeling like she was floating, and then seeing her grandfather. After that, she remembered only darkness, followed by light, leading her to realize she had died that day.
She explained that her organs were failing. She hadn’t known she had rhabdomyolysis, a condition where the body essentially begins to shut down.

Emilia Clarke, known for her role in Game of Thrones, revealed a harrowing health battle in a 2019 essay for The New Yorker. While filming the series, she experienced a severe headache while at the gym, followed by intense pain and vomiting. She quickly realized something was seriously wrong, suspecting brain damage.
A hospital scan revealed she had suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage – a life-threatening stroke caused by bleeding around the brain – due to a ruptured aneurysm. She underwent immediate surgery, describing the pain as unbearable. During her recovery, she experienced aphasia, making it difficult to speak coherently.
Though the aphasia eventually passed and she was discharged after a month, a 2013 scan revealed the aneurysm had doubled in size, requiring a second surgery. This procedure initially failed, causing a massive bleed and putting her life at risk. Doctors had to perform a more invasive surgery, accessing her brain directly through her skull.
Fortunately, Emilia reports she has now made a full recovery and is at 100%.

While she could have been discharged after the stroke, other health issues, including lupus and kidney problems, required a longer hospital stay. Cori is now recovering well. She says she’s doing great and has been working on regaining some motor skills, but is otherwise feeling fine.

Shailene Woodley struggled with significant health issues throughout her early twenties. In a September 2024 podcast interview, she explained that she experienced hearing loss, debilitating fatigue – unable to walk for more than five minutes without needing to rest for hours – and severe stomach pain. She faced a confusing array of diagnoses and conflicting advice from doctors.
Determined to find answers, Woodley, who has kept the specifics of her condition private, combined traditional medical care with holistic and herbal remedies. This search for well-being spanned a decade.
She explained that the physical discomfort led to deeper issues, including fear of food and struggles with body image, identity, and feeling comfortable in her own body.
Ultimately, after years of addressing both her physical and mental health, Woodley is now healthy and feeling well. She expressed gratitude for being able to say that her health issues have resolved themselves.
