Jordan Peele’s Controversial New Horror Movie Is Finally Coming to Streaming

Fans are eagerly awaiting Jordan Peele’s next movie, but he’s also been busy supporting other filmmakers. He recently produced a horror film exploring the dark side of sports and celebrity culture, which premiered in theaters this fall. Although it didn’t perform well in cinemas, the film will soon be available to stream on Peacock.

Directed by Justin Tipping, Him is a new horror film from Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions. It follows a promising young football player who believes he’s ready to do whatever it takes to achieve his dreams, but he soon discovers the frightening reality behind the pursuit of fame.

The horror film Him, which earned $28 million in theaters in September, will be available to stream on Peacock starting December 19th. Universal has announced the movie will be added to the service in two weeks.

The new series Him has gotten a mixed reaction from both critics and viewers. Tyriq Withers, an up-and-coming actor, plays the lead role of young quarterback Cam Cade. But many people are especially praising Marlon Wayans, known for his comedic work, for his surprisingly chilling performance as veteran football player and mentor Isaiah White.

If you enjoy the comedic style of the Wayans family, you should definitely check out Him. It’s reminiscent of Adam Sandler’s performance in Uncut Gems, though it doesn’t quite reach the same level of quality.

New to Peacock in December

Although the new season of Him doesn’t premiere on Peacock for a few more weeks, the streaming service has already added a great selection of movies and TV shows this month. Early in December, they released the complete Rocky and Creed film series, along with popular movies like Gladiator, Die Hard, and Pacific Rim. Later in December, all fifteen seasons of Supernatural will also become available.
