Alix Earle has left her partner on the dance floor.
The host of the Hot Mess podcast has broken up with Houston Texans wide receiver Braxton Berrios. They had publicly confirmed their relationship in October 2023, according to several sources.
TopMob News has reached out to Alix’s rep for comment but has not heard back.
In November, Alix addressed rumors about a possible breakup after fans noticed her NFL star partner wasn’t at the studio to support her during her season on Dancing With the Stars, where she danced with Val Chmerkovskiy.
After someone commented on a TikTok video, hoping she and Braxton were still together, Alix explained that he couldn’t be with her because of his football commitments.
Braxton showed his support for the influencer by submitting a video that was played during the November 25th finale.
He said he’d been watching her dedicate herself completely to this from the very beginning, and it was clear how much effort she’d put in. He finished by wishing her good luck and telling her to have fun.
Even though Braxton couldn’t be there in person, he wholeheartedly supported Alix throughout her time on Dancing With the Stars, offering encouragement from the start.
She told TopMob News in September, just before the new season started, that she’d had a vulnerable moment with Braxton. She explained, ‘I told Braxton I was struggling to feel confident and attractive, and I really needed his support to figure things out.’
Even though being on the ABC show was stressful, Alix and Braxton found comfort in each other.

She said he’s incredibly supportive, and they make a real effort to stay connected. They FaceTime daily whenever they can, and they’re always there for each other. Even though they both have demanding schedules, they’ve been able to support each other and still find time to connect.
After Alix and Val came in second place on season 34 – behind winners Robert Irwin and Witney Carson – she decided to remain in Los Angeles instead of joining Braxton at his games, leading to rumors of relationship problems. She finally returned to Miami in early December to attend Art Basel with friends.
Though the split between Alix and Braxton might be unexpected, they aren’t the only celebrity couple to break up recently. Here’s a look at other couples who have ended their relationships this year.
