Halberd Studios has revealed that their action-packed, pixel art Metroidvania game, Mariachi Legends, is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam) in 2026.

About
Mariachi Legends is a fast-paced, pixelated action game in the style of a Metroidvania, taking place in Mexico. You play as Pablo Cruz, a detective who makes a deal with Death. She grants him the power to become La Sombra, a powerful form that lets him defend his town from criminals. In exchange, Pablo promises to find Madre Catrina the one person who has always escaped her – an immortal man who challenged her power.
