Taylor Swiftis sharing a bit more of her and Travis’s Kelce’s beautiful, beautiful life with fans.
The first two parts of the Disney+ documentary, End of an Era, showcase the complete and unedited love story between the singer Opalite and the Kansas City Chiefs’ star player.
In the first episode, Taylor is practicing for Ed Sheeran’s surprise performance when she gets a call from her boyfriend. She immediately answers, excitedly saying, “Baby!”
Travis was struck by how easily Taylor included her close friend in the show, especially considering they’d only have a short time to rehearse beforehand.
Travis was impressed and asked her, “How do you all get so good? You practice a little bit beforehand, and then just perform flawlessly in front of a crowd?”
Naturally, Taylor returns Travis’ flowers.
“I love you,” she said to him. “I just don’t understand how you can memorize 36,000 different plans and then actually carry them out?”
Later on, Travis expressed his disappointment about missing the show, saying he really wished he could attend.
Taylor playfully asks him, “Seriously, why the NFL?” She quickly adds her excitement and wishes him a good practice.
To end the call, Travis tells her, “I love you so much, babe.”
Taylor said the call really cheered her up, joking that while some people get a vitamin boost, this conversation was hers.
After Taylor performed the sold-out Wembley show, the first thing she did was call Travis again.
“It went wonderfully,” she said to him, beaming. “I’m so happy and relieved. It really felt like the audience could tell I needed a boost.”
She joked, “I was so happy, I thought I was going to forget how to play guitar and sing.”

Travis has disagreed with the idea that he and his partner are sharing too much about their relationship.
He told GQ magazine that being with her feels normal. Without the cameras and public attention, they’re just a couple in love. He explained that the constant media coverage and tracking can make their relationship seem like something different than it is.
He explained that things unfolded naturally, despite a lot of media attention.

The first episode of The End of an Era featured Taylor Swift discussing the cancellation of her August 2024 concerts in Vienna, Austria, which were threatened by a terror plot. Two men were arrested in connection with the planned attack.
Taylor explained that the tour has faced several frightening and dangerous incidents. She said they narrowly avoided a potentially disastrous situation and that she’s been feeling overwhelmed as a result.
This happened shortly after a tragic event in Southport, England, where three children died during a dance class celebrating Taylor Swift’s music.
An emotional Taylor shared through tears, “I have a hard time explaining it.”
Okay, so after what happened in Southport, Taylor did the most incredible thing. I found out she was meeting with the survivors and their families backstage at the Wembley shows! Seriously, can you believe it? It was all very private, of course, but just knowing she took the time to connect with them personally… it just makes me love her even more. It was such a thoughtful and caring thing to do, and it really shows what’s in her heart.
In the docuseries, Taylor and her mother, Andrea Swift, were both visibly upset after a particular meeting. Andrea told Taylor, “I know you helped them, even if it doesn’t feel like it, I know you did.”

Taylor was very nervous before performing at Wembley Stadium, especially following the recent tragic events.
“I just need to do this show,” she told pal Ed Sheeran backstage, “remember the joy of it.”
Taylor went on to explain that after she wraps up her Wembley concerts she’ll have two months off.
“I need to disappear for a while,” she told Ed when he asked what she was up to. “I just want to be left alone – I feel like I’m constantly being watched and pursued.”

Following the completion of each segment of The Eras Tour, Taylor Swift generously provided bonuses to all members of her crew, dancers, and musicians.
Taylor explained that ‘bonus day’ was crucial, as establishing a positive pattern with The Eras Tour was a high priority for her.
She explained that crew members receive larger bonuses when the tour is financially successful. She deeply appreciates their hard work and talent, and personally wrote a handwritten note to every single person on the crew, a process that took a couple of weeks but she enjoyed.
And Taylor was on hand to deliver those notes, which brought her team to tears.

I’ve been following both Travis and Taylor closely, and it’s so endearing to learn that even he was just like the rest of us fans – glued to the internet, trying to find out everything about Taylor’s Eras Tour shows when he wasn’t actually at them! It really shows how much he supports her and is genuinely interested in what she does.
Oh my gosh, you guys, I nearly DIED when I heard Travis tell Taylor on the phone that he was determined to be at Wembley! He said he was going to be ‘scouring the internet’ – can you even IMAGINE?! It’s SO sweet, he’s literally going to search everywhere just to be there for her shows! I’m living for this, seriously. He’s the best!

While putting The Eras Tour together, Taylor turned to a longtime pal for guidance.
I needed a choreographer, so I asked my friend, Emma Stone, who has a lot of dance experience in her movies, for a recommendation. She immediately said Mandy Moore was the only person I should consider.
Mandy Moore, a choreographer and separate from the actress with the same name, collaborated with Emma on the 2016 film La La Land.

As someone who’s been behind the scenes at a lot of concerts, let me tell you, Taylor Swift is seriously meticulous about keeping surprises under wraps! To prevent any leaks of those incredible surprise songs – like when she brought out Florence Welch and performed ‘Florida!!!’ – she and the band would rehearse with the PA system turned way down. They’d practice ‘quietly’ so the fans waiting outside the stadiums couldn’t accidentally hear what she had planned. It’s all about keeping the magic a surprise for the actual show!
Taylor explained in the second episode of the docuseries, “Magic of the Eras,” that planning surprises is exhausting. “Honestly, just thinking about it makes me want to take a nap!” she said. “But seeing it all come together makes it completely worthwhile.”
