Krauser Joins Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Big Anniversary Update Teased

Okay, so SNK is dropping a big update for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves on April 24th! It’s to celebrate the game’s first birthday, and honestly, it’s awesome to see them still supporting it with a major content drop. I’m really excited to see what they’ve added!

We’ll be sharing all the specifics in a YouTube livestream on April 23rd. Considering how popular the game has been, we’re likely to see new game modes and content added, along with adjustments to improve gameplay balance.

Plus, Season 2 DLC character Wolfgang Krauser becomes available on April 24th, along with his Arcade and single-player story Episodes set in South Town.

Here’s a little more about him, courtesy of a press release:

He was once known as the Emperor of Darkness, controlling the criminal side of society, but supposedly died in battle against the Hungry Wolf. However, whispers from his own children suggest this isn’t the full story. Now, years later, his son is hosting a fighting tournament. For Krauser, who has become even more ruthless, it’s the ideal opportunity to take action. This isn’t a memorial for the past, but the beginning of a plan for revenge.

We’ve already announced that Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star will be included in this season’s content. However, there’s also another secret character planned to appear between Krauser and our guest star.

We suspect that character will be revealed during the anniversary livestream next week.

In the meantime, you can check out footage of Krauser in the trailer embedded above.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting this character, the final boss from Fatal Fury 2, and early gameplay suggests he won’t disappoint.
