
A sneak peek at Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film based on Homer’s The Odyssey is exciting moviegoers. The six-minute prologue is being shown before IMAX 70mm screenings of Ryan Coogler’s Sinners and Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another in select theaters this weekend. It’s one of the most eagerly awaited movies scheduled for release in 2026.
According to Variety, the trailer shows the story of the Trojan horse. It opens with Menelaus (Jon Bernthal) asking Telemachus (Tom Holland) if he’s ever heard the story from someone who witnessed it. The film centers on Telemachus’ father, Odysseus (Matt Damon), who masterminded the famous plan to get inside Troy after a decade-long war.
