Madonna & Guy Ritchie Reunite for the First Time Since 2008 Divorce

These days,Madonna isn’t hung up on her 2008 divorce.

Madonna, 67, and her ex-husband, Guy Ritchie, came together to support their son, Rocco Ritchie, at the opening of his art exhibit. The event, held on December 12th in London, showcased Rocco’s work titled “Talk is Cheap.” The 25-year-old expressed his appreciation for both parents putting aside their differences to celebrate with him.

Rocco acknowledged on Instagram December 15th that he understands why some people might criticize him, saying he doesn’t fault them. He also expressed pride in himself and, even more so, in having both parents present to support him. He believes his accomplishments should be the focus, which is why his show was titled ‘Talk Is Cheap.’

Rocco dressed for the event in a long leather coat, gray pants, and a blue button-down shirt with a black tie. Guy went with a simpler look: black pants, a black turtleneck, and a plaid jacket. As expected, Madonna arrived in glamorous style, wearing sheer red tights, a red top and gloves, a leather jacket, and knee-high boots.

This is the first time Madonna and Guy Ritchie have been seen together in photos since their divorce in 2008, which ended their eight-year marriage. While they didn’t pose for family pictures with their current partners, both brought dates to the event: Madonna with her boyfriend, Akeem Morris, and Guy with his wife of ten years, Jacqui Ainsley.

Although they separated 17 years ago, the singer recently discussed how old hurts resurfaced in 2015 during a difficult custody dispute. Their then-15-year-old son, Rocco, had refused to return home from London with his mother, which led to the legal battle.
