Gisele Bündchen Marries Joaquim Valente in Florida Wedding

Gisele Bündchen is saying “I do” to a new teammate.

Supermodel and her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, who became parents in February, recently got married in a small ceremony in Florida, according to several reports.

Gisele Bündchen appeared to show off her wedding ring on December 18th at an event in São Paulo, Brazil. She wore a revealing dress and a noticeable thick gold band on her ring finger.

Gisele Bündchen, 45, reportedly started dating her Jiu-Jitsu instructor in June 2023, after finalizing her divorce from Tom Brady in October 2022. The couple has since welcomed a 10-month-old baby, but they haven’t revealed the child’s name.

She also has two older children, 15-year-old Benjamin Rein and 12-year-old Vivian Lake, from her previous relationship with Tom, who are now part of their blended family.

In the weeks before she gave birth this year, the model, who previously worked with Victoria’s Secret, seemed focused on staying positive. She shared an encouraging message with a video showing off her baby bump.

In a January Instagram post, she wrote, “True happiness comes from within.” She added, “You’re the only one who can make your life what you want it to be.”

For Gisele, prioritizing self-care is key to being a great parent.

She told Vogue in May 2017 that mothers are constantly focused on others, and it’s vital to prioritize self-care. Taking time for yourself allows you to give to your family from a place of strength, rather than exhaustion, which is better for everyone involved.

Gisele and Tom were married for 13 years, from 2009 to 2022. She’s often spoken about becoming a mother, and credits Tom’s son Jack—from his previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan—with helping her understand what motherhood would be like early on.
