X launches AI-curated audiences for advertisers

As a seasoned crypto investor and avid user of social media platforms, I find the recent announcement by X’s business account regarding their new AI-powered audience targeting feature to be an intriguing development. The potential for more precise and efficient ad targeting is undeniably exciting, as it could potentially save time and resources for advertisers while providing better value for users.

The social media platform ‘X’, previously known as Twitter, revealed an innovative AI-powered addition for marketers in its business account.

Starting from May 10, our platform will introduce the “AI Audience” feature. With this innovation, advertisers can succinctly outline their desired audience for a particular ad. Our advanced AI systems then swiftly generate a pool of potential users who best fit that description within seconds.

The AI swiftly provided an illustration of a user specifying their audience as “Technology Heads” accompanied by a description “representing individuals who spearhead technology.” In a blink, it yielded a comprehensive list comprising hundreds of users falling under this category, together with demographic data.

Elon Musk, the owner of X, shared the post again without adding any further remarks about the recent progress.

In reaction to the original message, a user remarked that this development could represent a “game-changer” in the realm of advertising, offering “excellent value” on the given platform. Yet, he raised concerns about the precision of the AI in constructing targeted audiences.

As a successful crypto investor, I believe that if an AI proves effective in consistently identifying the right audience for advertisements over an extended period, then this is a game-changing move for X, giving it a significant edge over other platforms. Other advertising platforms would still require extensive research to accurately target their audiences.

I acknowledge the valid concerns raised by other users regarding the potential for the AI to reinforce and perpetuate biases and stereotypes. It’s essential that we address these issues to ensure the fairness and inclusivity of the technology.

As a crypto investor, I recently came across a query from another user about the nature of X’s business and its clients. This user expressed concern, stating, “I assumed I was the one providing the funds, so why does X need to sell my data or services to brands and corporations?”

Despite some skepticism, many users called the development “exciting” and “really smart.”

As a researcher studying Elon Musk’s initiatives, I’ve noticed an intriguing turn of events. Amidst Musk’s aggressive push towards incorporating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Twitter’s social media platform, this development unfolds.

As a crypto investor, I’m always on the lookout for exciting developments in the tech world that could potentially impact my investments. And what a week it was in late March! Elon Musk, the visionary entrepreneur and CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, made an announcement that left the community buzzing.

In the midst of a legal dispute between Musk and OpenAI, where Musk previously held affiliations, on March 11, Musk announced his intention to make the Grok project open-source.

Musk’s company xAI has been working diligently on creating new tools for the public, but in January, Musk refuted a report suggesting that they had achieved $500 million towards their $1 billion investment objective.
