Okay, so the devs have heard us loud and clear – some of the creatures are just way too aggressive and it’s more annoying than fun when we run into them. They’re working on fixing this right now! They’re tweaking how the creatures act – things like when they decide to attack, how far they’ll chase you, and how they mess with your base or vehicles. Plus, they’re making our tools, like flares and the Survival Tool, actually useful against them. Hopefully, this will make encounters more exciting and less rage-inducing!

As a longtime Doctor Who fan, I’ve always been fascinated by the Daleks, and digging into the BBC’s official Dalek Combat Manual is a deep dive! Apparently, the original Daleks weren’t just creatures inside the casings, but actually operated what were called Mark III Travel Machines. These things were seriously equipped – think rotating domes for a full view, energy weapons, and all sorts of attachments they could swap out, from flamethrowers to even suction cups. The shells themselves are made of this super-rare metal called Dalekanium, and while fans have documented tons of tiny differences, most of them don’t actually change how dangerous a Dalek is. So, I decided to rank all the official Dalek types, as laid out in the manual, by just how much trouble they could give the Doctor. Let’s see which ones are the biggest threats!

The event is happening at Belle Salle Takadanobaba in Tokyo, and will feature two shows: one in the afternoon at 1 PM and another in the evening at 6 PM. Hulu has announced that The Testaments will return for a second season, just a week before the first season ends on May 27th. The decision to renew the show is based on its strong performance, with viewers worldwide watching over 45 million hours of the series on Hulu and Disney+. Each episode has consistently attracted more viewers than the last. Season one centers on Agnes (Chase Infiniti) and Daisy (Lucy Halliday), two young women experiencing life in Gilead from different perspectives. Agnes is a devout teenager being raised within the system, while Daisy comes from outside Gilead’s borders. Ann Dowd returns as Aunt Lydia, and Elisabeth Moss makes a special guest appearance as June Osborn from The Handmaid’s Tale.

This show centers around a group of friends – Sam (Alfred Molina), the grumpy traditionalist; Jack (Bill Pullman), the athletic one; Wally (Denis O’Hare), the eccentric and cool guy; Art (Clarke Peters), the laid-back type (with his wife Judy, played by Alfre Woodard, acting as the mother figure); and Renee (Geena Davis), the attractive and spirited one. Their lives take a strange turn when Sam moves to the seemingly idyllic retirement community of The Boroughs, and residents start mysteriously dying. A conspiracy begins to unfold, and the result is a clever and endearing story that feels like a throwback to classic 1990s sci-fi, with a touch of Stephen King. If you enjoy this type of genre fiction, you’ll likely love it.

The new gameplay video, called Virtua Fighter Crossroads, showcases over a minute and a half of action. It features several characters, including Stella – who closely resembles the classic character Sarah – and Wolf. The video also appears to include Pai.

Ubisoft predicts it will lose roughly €500 million in fiscal year 2027, representing an 8-9% decrease, according to Reuters. However, the company anticipates a return to profitability and positive cash flow by fiscal year 2028, driven by its future game releases which are designed to be highly engaging and encourage player spending.

Embark Studios aims to create tension and unpredictability when players meet in ARC Raiders raids. They plan to include some player-versus-player combat, but also want to make sure the system is balanced and fun for everyone, no matter how they choose to play.

I finally got to play the closed beta for this sci-fi RPG – basically, a demo – on my PS5, along with everyone else on other platforms. The developers, Owlcat Games, really wanted to get a ton of feedback from us players, which is awesome!
