Following the disappointing performance of the 1993 film Super Mario Bros., Nintendo stopped making movies for many years. When they decided to try again, they knew they needed to focus on their most famous series. The 2023 film, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, was a hit, proving Nintendo could succeed in filmmaking. Now, after the movie’s huge success, Nintendo and Illumination are exploring ways to build on that momentum. While a direct sequel seems likely, an even more exciting option might be in the works.

Now that her husband is the mayor of New York, Jessica has given up her job as a private investigator and closed her agency, Alias Investigations. However, a shocking discovery – the brutal murder of her neighbors – pulls her back in. Though her friend Luke urges her to stay out of it, Jessica soon realizes there’s more than one killer at work when she crosses paths with Typhoid Mary. They decide to join forces and uncover the truth, but as viewers already know, this investigation will lead Jessica down a dangerous path.

Total Chaos was first released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (through Steam, the Epic Games Store, GOG, and the Microsoft Store) on November 20, 2025.

KeplerL2 explained that developers will probably have an easier time optimizing games to look good on the handheld’s 1080p screen than trying to run them on less powerful hardware for a 4K TV. With the release of the first episodes of Shadow Lord on Disney+, it appears Devon’s story might reveal clues about Maul’s future and the path his story takes after the series.
