Apparently, not only is Pokémon coming back to Disney XD, but it’s also potentially hitting Disney+ this August! Disney hasn’t officially said anything yet, so it’s not a sure thing, but I’m definitely keeping my fingers crossed and will be watching for an announcement!
Back in February, LEGO gave a sneak peek of a new set featuring Derpy the cat – just a glimpse of his paw and a flower pot! Rumors quickly spread that the set would include Derpy and his bird friend, Sussie. LEGO promised a reveal in Spring 2026, but that date has passed, which is unusual for them. Licensing agreements can be complicated, though. We might already have a good idea of what the set will look like, thanks to a LEGO Ideas project that’s been under review since summer 2025. It’s lovely to look back on all the great moments with Giles throughout the seven seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and it’s comforting to remember how wonderful he was. Everyone has a favorite, I’m sure, but the scene that always stands out to me is from the end of Season 2, Episode 14, “Innocence.” This is after Angel becomes Angelus and starts attacking Buffy and her friends. A heartbroken Buffy tells Giles in his car that she’s let him down, and his response, delivered beautifully by Anthony Head, is truly compassionate.
In addition to other news, the anime will feature an exhibition for Japanese fans in 2027. While fans eagerly anticipate updates about the series’ continuation, the first two seasons are now available to stream for free in North America. It’s Anime, a 24/7 free streaming channel, has begun offering the anime, timed to coincide with the series’ anniversary, giving fans a chance to revisit this popular show at no cost.
