A PC game that came out on Steam last year is now available to download for free. While it’s not a huge, mainstream title, it’s getting excellent reviews – 100% positive, in fact! If you’re not a fan of fast-paced, arcade-style shooting games, this probably won’t be your cup of tea, though.
Okay, so here’s the deal: if you’re a PC gamer with a Steam account, you’ve got until December 31st to snag Undercroft Warriors for free from Fuzzy, the developers. But, if you’re hoping to play it on your Steam Deck, it looks like Steam hasn’t officially confirmed it’ll work yet – they’re listing Deck support as ‘Unknown’ right now.
About the Game and User Reviews
This PC game puts you in the role of one of six heroes battling waves of ever-growing enemy forces. Each hero has their own special weapons and abilities, which you’ll need to master to achieve the highest possible score. The quicker you defeat enemies, the faster your score multiplier increases! Just be careful – if you slow down, you’ll quickly be overrun by the enemy!

One player described the free Steam game as feeling like a classic arcade game, with a scoring system that makes it really addictive. They said the gameplay is easy to pick up, but has a lot of hidden depth. It’s challenging, but that’s what makes it so satisfying – you just want to keep playing ‘one more run!’
One Steam player shared that this game introduced them to a whole new genre and they’re completely hooked. They found it incredibly enjoyable and highly recommend it, saying it’s so fun they want to keep playing to improve their score.
It’s hard to say exactly how long it takes to finish Undercroft Warriors, but the game is designed for replayability and aiming for the best possible score. One player has already spent over 10 hours with it! Since it’s a free game on Steam, you can try it out with no risk – even a quick 10-second play session won’t cost you anything but a few moments of your time.
