With Christmas week here and 2025 coming to a close, it’s the perfect time to relax with family and friends and enjoy something new on TV. Luckily, Netflix has a lot of fresh content planned for the next few days! New shows and movies will be added every day this week, but Christmas Day will be the biggest release day of all – it could even be the most-watched day of the year for Netflix.
This Christmas Day, Netflix will stream two live NFL games featuring exciting rivalries. The Dallas Cowboys will face the Washington Commanders, and the Detroit Lions will play the Minnesota Vikings.
After the games conclude, Netflix will release the next three episodes of Stranger Things 5 at 5pm Pacific Time. These episodes are part of the show’s final season, and the very last episodes will be available next week.

Tom Segura’s latest comedy special, Teacher, is now available on Netflix. This is his fifth special for the streaming service, following Mostly Stories (2016), Disgraceful (2018), Ball Hog (2020), and Sledgehammer (2023). He’s also known for his Emmy-nominated series Bad Thoughts, which will return for a second season in 2026.
