Zack Snyder recently shared an old photo on Instagram of Henry Cavill wearing a Superman costume that never made it into a movie. This has excited fans who are hoping Snyder will be able to continue his vision for the DC Universe, often called the ‘Snyderverse’.
He shared a black-and-white photo with the caption, “This was taken before the Superman suit was finished. It’s an early test of the ‘Man of Steel’ costume, captured on a 4×5 black-and-white Polaroid.” The design around the shoulders appears a little different from the final version.
Fans enthusiastically praised Henry Cavill’s portrayal of Superman and many called for the continuation of Zack Snyder’s vision for the DC Universe. One fan compared Cavill and Christopher Reeve as the best Supermen, stating no one else measures up. Another urged a sequel to ‘Man of Steel,’ believing it surpasses other Superman films.
Fans loved Henry Cavill as Superman and are strongly urging him to reprise the role, with many expressing their disappointment with the current direction and directly appealing to Netflix to “#restorethesnyderverse” and bring him back.
