Edric’s ‘Dune 3’ Absence Means Denis Villeneuve Still Won’t Fix the Worst Book Change

As a huge fan of Frank Herbert’s Dune, I can tell you the books are famously complex! The story follows Paul Atreides – Timothée Chalamet plays him in Denis Villeneuve’s films – and it’s incredible to watch him transform from the son of a noble family into the emperor of everything. Along the way, he encounters so many fascinating groups – the Fremen who live in the desert, the mysterious Bene Gesserit sisterhood, the Mentats who are basically human computers, and the truly awful House Harkonnen. There’s sandworm riding, encounters with babies who are unbelievably advanced, and learning about the Spice Melange, which can give you the power to see the future. And if you thought that was a lot, the upcoming Dune: Part Three is going to add even more to the mix, like the Bene Tleilax, who can literally change their faces!

How Netflix’s New Bosch Replacement Adapts Its 13-Book Franchise Explained By Creator

The famous Norwegian detective Harry Hole was previously portrayed by Michael Fassbender in the film The Snowman, which was unfortunately a critical and commercial failure. A new series now stars Tobias Santelmann as Harry, who is still haunted by a five-year-old unsolved case involving a series of brutal bank robberies. He’s also currently investigating a serial killer in Oslo who leaves pentagram-shaped gems at the scenes of their crimes.

Galavant Is The Perfect Fantasy Comedy Binge For Disney Fans

While the show Once Upon a Time was on a mid-season break, Disney launched a new, more daring fantasy series called Galavant. Created by Dan Fogelman (known for This Is Us) and featuring original music by Alan Menken of Disney, Galavant is a quick and fun binge-watch for anyone who enjoys fantasy, with only two seasons.

Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again Actually Addresses Thunderbolts (But Not How You Think)

As a huge Marvel fan, one thing I’ve been really wondering about is how Daredevil: Born Again and Thunderbolts are going to connect. It seems pretty obvious they should, right? Both stories take place in New York City! Born Again even has the mayor declaring war on masked heroes, and Thunderbolts sets up the New Avengers base there – plus, there’s that villain turning people into shadows. It was strange that Thunderbolts didn’t mention anything happening in Born Again at first, but the second season of the Daredevil show on Disney+ actually started to tie things together, which is great to see!

April Is Going to Be a Bad Month for James Bond Fans

Yes, you read that right – all the James Bond films will be taken off Netflix in late April, even though they were added in January. While this is disappointing for fans, there’s still time to watch all 26 movies before they’re gone on April 21st – just under a month to enjoy the entire series!

A Star Wars Game Finally Returns After 26 Years (But With A Lord of the Rings Twist)

Back in 2000, the board game Star Wars: The Queen’s Gambit let players fight battles on various game boards, inspired by Star Wars Episode One: The Phantom Menace. Now, Restoration Games and Space Cowboys are bringing back the gameplay with a new theme. This time, instead of Star Wars, the game is set in the world of The Lord of the Rings and is called The Lord of the Rings: The King’s Gambit.

2025 Animated Movie Sequel Is Officially a Netflix U.S. Hit After $240M Box Office (but a 3rd Movie Is Uncertain)

During the week of March 16th to 22nd, The Bad Guys 2 climbed into the top 10 on Netflix in the U.S., landing at number 7. It outperformed films like Sisu: Road to Revenge and Jurassic World Rebirth to get there. This was the first week the movie appeared in Netflix’s top 10, especially impressive since it was only added to the platform on March 21st, meaning it quickly gained a lot of viewers.

10 Vampire Movies That Changed The Genre Forever

I’ve always been drawn to vampire stories, and it’s amazing how they’ve evolved! While a lot of the classic vampire films are genuinely scary, these legends are just so compelling that they’ve popped up in all kinds of movies now.
