Netflix is About to Lose David Lynch’s Cult ‘80s Sci-FI Movie Ahead of the Latest Franchise Adaptation

David Lynch’s 1984 film Dune wasn’t a hit when it first came out. Though it was a bold attempt to bring Frank Herbert’s complex novel to the screen, critics didn’t like it, and few people went to see it – it was even named one of the worst films of the year. Despite its initial failure, and even with the success of the newer Dune movies by Denis Villeneuve (Dune: Part One, Dune: Part Two, and the planned Dune: Part Three), the original deserves a second look. And you don’t have much time – it’s leaving Netflix on May 1st.

PEGI typically rates games shortly before release, although remasters are sometimes submitted a little earlier for administrative reasons.
