Deadpool: Samurai Kills Off a Spider-Man
In Chapter 17 of “Deadpool: Samurai,” Deadpool discloses his reasons for being in Japan, and it’s unveiled that he received a video from Iron Man. This enigmatic video, set in Japan, shows a gang of criminals executing someone they identify as “Japan’s sole and likely only Spider-Hero.” This act is declared as a war declaration against the heroes in Japan. Due to his previous alliance with her, Deadpool speculates that the unseen hero could be Sakura Spider, since she has continued to appear in other Marvel comics following their initial partnership.
It remains uncertain if Sakura Spider was killed within this particular chapter, but her death – should it be true – triggers an enraged rampage from Deadpool, leading him to murder the culprits behind her demise. On the other hand, it’s evident that this latest chapter marks the beginning of a more extensive narrative, as Deadpool embarks on a fresh series of adventures in Japan.
