Selena Gomez can still see through Jennifer Stone’s funky festive hat.
Selena Gomez, who founded Rare Beauty, made a special visit to her former Wizards of Waverly Place costar before Christmas, and both of them dressed comfortably for the festive season.
Selena, 33, posted a cute picture on her Instagram Stories on December 22nd of herself and Jennifer, 32, both wearing Santa hats, with the caption, “Love you Jen.”
Staying true to their close bond, her fellow actor shared the photo on their own social media and wrote, “Love you too!”
Their reunion continued online when Selena shared some old photos of the pair from the set of their Disney show, where they played friends Alex Russo and Harper Finkle. One picture showed Selena with hair curlers, while Jennifer was dressed in her character’s famously colorful style. Another photo captured them laughing and relaxing during a break from filming.
Jennifer and David DeLuise, who became close while working on Wizards of Waverly Place, have spent time together several times this year. They were guests at Selena Gomez’s wedding to Benny Blanco in September, and just a month before that, they got together for lunch and rewatched their popular show.
As a fan of feel-good TV, I was definitely surprised by the recent turn of events in the Wizards Beyond Waverly Place reboot! While Selena Gomez has given us so many magical moments with her on-screen family, it looks like even her character, Alex, couldn’t escape a tricky situation. The season two finale left viewers on the edge of their seats – Alex falls into a mysterious portal with no clear path back, leaving her fate completely uncertain. It was a real cliffhanger!

Even though the show ended on a dramatic note, Selena’s co-star and on-screen brother, David Henrie, hinted that her story might not be completely finished.
Shortly after the show’s finale, David posted on X, saying that Alex Russo is more resilient than people realize and that there’s much more story to tell. He encouraged viewers to keep asking questions, hinting that #WizardsBeyond has some exciting surprises in store.
Despite everything, the star of “Same Old Love,” who also helped produce the Disney+ reboot with David, said it’s been a lot of fun to update her character’s abilities.
She told Deadline in October that revisiting the show felt wonderfully nostalgic. She described it as a great experience and expressed excitement about a new generation taking over the story.
