Following Travis Kelce’s statement that he and his fiancée, Taylor Swift, haven’t had a disagreement, Kylie asked for more details.

During the December 24th episode of the New Heights podcast, Kylie questioned Travis and his wife, Jason Kelce, saying, “You were kidding when you said you don’t fight, right? You didn’t actually mean that.”

The host of Not Gonna Lie was surprised by what they heard, and thought the person speaking was being sarcastic, judging by their laugh afterward. Someone even asked them about it during the show’s preparation, and the host said they believed Travis was joking.

Travis, who proposed to the singer of “Fate of Ophelia” in August, jokingly avoided answering the question by making a playful remark about whether or not he’d been in a real fight.

“Who do I fight?” he asked. “Defensive guys? Yeah, I fight. I’m a fighter int that sense.”

The tight end immediately dismissed rumors sparked by Kylie, clarifying, “But Tay and I definitely don’t argue.”

Kylie, a mother to four daughters – Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and 9-month-old Finn – tried to connect with someone over a shared experience.

“We don’t either,” she said to Jason, who shut that down adding, “that’s not true.”

When Kylie mentioned they don’t argue much, Jason quickly added that they have a typical amount of disagreements, like most couples.

Earlier this month, 36-year-old Travis shared some personal thoughts about his relationship. He was speaking with George Clooney, who revealed he and his wife, Amal Clooney, have never had an argument in their 11 years of marriage.

Travis recently mentioned on the December 3rd episode of his podcast, New Heights, that in the past two and a half years, he hasn’t had a single argument with anyone.

George noted that there is not end game to arguing with your partner.

“You’re never going to win the argument,” the ER star reasoned. “So why get in it?”

To which Travis agreed, adding, “So true.”

It’s hard to imagine Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce having a wedding on just any day. They’d likely choose a date that’s personally significant, especially for Taylor.

Okay, seriously, I am obsessed with numerology. Numbers, dates, patterns… I just eat it up! I was listening to the New Heights podcast, and she was talking about it – she was on for two hours, which is amazing! And get this: the episode dropped on August 13th, thirteen days before they announced they were engaged! It’s like, the universe is sending signals! Though, apparently, her fiancé’s dad said they’d told their closest people about being together three days before the podcast episode. Still, it’s all connected, I just know it! She said she finds all that ‘really fun,’ and honestly? Same. It’s just…everything makes so much sense when you look at the numbers!

Travis’s plans for after the 2025 NFL season, when his current contract ends, will influence when they set their wedding date. If he continues playing football, they’ll plan the wedding during the off-season, likely between February, after the Super Bowl, and the start of training camp in July.

If Travis retires after his 13th season – which is hard to believe – he’ll be free to get married, possibly in October, Taylor’s favorite month. The exact timing will depend on whether Taylor announces a tour for her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, which was released on October 3rd, and when that tour might be.

Taylor Swift is famous for her close friendships with many celebrities, but she revealed in October 2025 that she hadn’t started planning her bachelorette party yet.

You know, people always assume I was one of those girls who dreamed about her wedding day since childhood. But honestly? I never really gave it much thought at all! Travis is also into fashion, so he’s excited to choose a wedding suit that really reflects his personality.

In a 2012 interview with Cosmopolitan, Taylor Swift clarified she hadn’t already chosen a tuxedo for her future husband, adding, “I don’t want him to feel like his presence doesn’t make a difference.”

Taylor and Travis both deeply value family, so their parents and brothers are naturally key people in the wedding. Jason Kelce, likely to be Travis’s best man, has two young daughters, Wyatt and Elliotte, who will probably be flower girls. Depending on the wedding date, his younger daughter, Bennett, might also participate. Sadly, the newest addition to the family, baby Finnley, will probably be too young to attend.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m already anticipating the guest list for Travis’ bachelor party! We’re definitely going to see some of his Kansas City Chiefs teammates there – he was a groomsman at Patrick Mahomes’ wedding to Brittany back in 2022, so Patrick will absolutely be included, along with Coach Andy Reid. But it’s not just about football! Travis has a fantastic group of friends he’s known since his Cleveland Heights days, and I’m predicting a super fun, golf-and-beer-filled celebration. It’s going to be epic!

Taylor’s childhood friend, Abigail Anderson, has been a constant presence in her life. Though her group of friends has changed over time, Selena Gomez remains close, and Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are still part of her inner circle, despite recent reports about a possible falling out related to the actress’s legal issues.

Also, Taylor is already a godmother to Blake and Ryan’s daughters, so she’s familiar with the role of a special helper at a wedding.

It’s easy to imagine a friend or family member becoming ordained to lead the wedding ceremony, but we don’t expect Flavor Flav to be the one doing it.

On the September 17th episode of New Heights, Travis shared his preference for live music, saying, “I think we’re just people who enjoy seeing bands play.”

Ugh, we knew it, we’re so on the same page.

I’m so excited for the wedding! Even if the bride decides she needs a night off from singing, she’s got a fantastic group of friends who can definitely hold down the musical side of things. I’m especially hoping to see Haim get up on stage – they’d be amazing!

But Taylor joked it “would be hard to keep” Ed Sheeran from performing at her wedding. 

She explained in an October 2025 interview with Hits Radio that Ed Sheeran is a natural performer. According to her, ‘If there’s a stage, Ed knows he’ll be on it.’ He understands what his audience enjoys and is dedicated to delivering it.

Taylor may love Travis so much she’d marry him with paper rings, but that won’t be the case.

Taylor Swift shared on The Graham Norton Show in October that she preferred not to deal with the pressure of deciding who to exclude from her guest list. She explained that making cuts would force her to carefully consider and judge her relationships with people.

And, she added, “I’m not gonna do that.”

Comedian Nikki Glaser, a self-proclaimed Taylor Swift fan, believes a large wedding is on the way. She told TopMob News at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, “It has to be – everything’s been building up to this!”

The comedian pointed out that because Taylor Swift is constantly in the spotlight – essentially treated like a bride every day – her wedding will probably be kept as private as possible.

Nikki said she knows the person just wants to celebrate with everyone she cares about, and she has a large circle of friends and family. Nikki jokingly added that she’s anticipating seeing photos of a helicopter finding a way to disrupt the celebration.

As soon as the wedding is over and the couple drives away, Taylor will definitely start sharing photos and videos from her special day with her fans.
