Scooter Braun Addresses Docuseries on His and Taylor Swift's Feud

As a seasoned observer of Hollywood’s intricate web of relationships and feuds, I must say that each of these stories is as fascinating as it is complex.

Scooter Braun is attending birthday parties from outside.

indeed, the retired record producer from a few months ago has spoken publicly for the first time in nearly two years about his dispute with Taylor Swift, referencing her recent party in Rhode Island as a way of addressing it.

On August 27, Braun posted a picture of the poster for Max’s documentary series titled “Taylor Swift vs. Scooter Braun: Bad Blood” on Instagram, which was released in June. In his caption, he mentioned, “I eventually got around to watching it…”

Later on, he added to his post some details about the birthday celebration for Blake Lively that took place on August 25th. The guest list included Blake herself, Ryan Reynolds, Travis Kelce, Gigi Hadid, among others.

“Why wasn’t I included in that event?!” Braun exclaimed, not long after posting about watching the documentary. “#Smilea Little.”

Of course, Swift has no problem laughing with the people who keep their side of the street clean, but she’s previously said Braun wouldn’t know what she means.

In a well-known social media post from 2019, Taylor Swift expressed that Scooter Braun had taken away her life’s creation, and she didn’t get the chance to purchase these master recordings herself. She wrote, “Scooter has essentially left my musical legacy in the hands of someone who attempted to destroy it. This is the worst-case scenario for me.”

After Big Machine Records, Taylor Swift’s original record label, was sold to Braun in 2019, she embarked on a process of rerecording her music. In 2021, she put out Fearless (Taylor’s Version), followed by Red (Taylor’s Version) the same year. She continued with Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) and 1989 (Taylor’s Version) in 2023.

Shortly after Swift’s first rereleased album, Braun later expressed “regrets” for the deal.

“He shared with Variety in 2021 that he was both sorry and saddened by Taylor’s response to the deal. Despite only having a few encounters with her in the past, which were always pleasant and cordial, he holds Taylor in high regard due to her remarkable talent. He wishes her nothing but success.”

Of course, when it comes to the music, Swift and Braun are still not in perfect harmony.

During discussions with Variety, Braun stated he proposed returning the master recordings to the Eras Tour artist, Swift. However, in a 2020 social media post, Swift mentioned that she would have been bound by a strict non-disclosure agreement (NDA), preventing her from publicly discussing Braun before any deal could be initiated.

Swift alleged, “These master recordings were not for sale to me.”

In January 2024, Bobby, as depicted here, refuted speculations about a rift with Tan, who is seen in the middle of the image. This denial came just two months following Bobby’s announcement that he was leaving Queer Eye after an eight-season run.

He assured Vanity Fair, “Tan and I are doing well, and let me make it clear that any issues we’ve had are private matters between us, unrelated to the program. It was a personal matter that had been simmering for some time now, and I just want to clarify that there was nothing romantic involved.”

In March 2024, Tan addressed accusations that he was trying to get his friend Jeremiah Brent instead of Bobby on the show “Queer Eye”.

“Netflix and the production teams conducted a thorough audition process. I didn’t nominate my friend for the role, as they got it based on being the most suitable candidate. However, I didn’t secure their employment by pushing someone else out of contention.” (He shared this on Instagram)

In a December 2023 episode of her podcast “Let’s Be Clear”, Holly Marie Combs, who previously worked with Shannen on “Charmed”, claimed that Alyssa had demanded a choice from a show producer: either herself or Shannen. This alleged ultimatum reportedly resulted in Shannen leaving the show in 2001.

Back in February 2024, Alyssa stated on Instagram that she didn’t possess the ability to terminate anyone’s employment, and further added that the accounts of such events shared by others at this point are essentially rewriting history.

The following day, during a panel discussion at MegaCon Orlando, Shannen stated confidently, “No one is rewriting history as far as the truth I know is concerned.”

In September 2023, during a game titled “Stir the Pot” on TopMob News with her daughter Kelly Osbourne, Sharon expressed that Kelly’s co-star from That ’70s Show was the most impolite celebrity she had ever encountered. She bluntly referred to him as a “very rude boy,” using the phrase “rude, rude, rude, rude” twice, and also called him a “mischievous little thing.”

He did not respond to her remarks publicly.

Approximately five years ago, Sharon shared with Larry King that when Ashton was a guest on the show “The Talk” in 2014, he showed an “attitude” as a response to her mistakenly referring to him by name.

In the past, someone asked me, “Who are you? What have you accomplished in this field?” I responded, “Listen here, young one, I’ll make short work of you if you continue to challenge me. To put it mildly, you haven’t seen anything yet from me.”

In August of 2022, Cassadee and Maren engaged in a heated exchange with Brittany, the spouse of country music artist Jason Aldean, following Brittany’s Instagram post on August 23rd, where she showcased herself applying makeup. In a TikTok challenge during 2022, JoJo Siwa referred to Candace Cameron Bure as the “most rude” celebrity. She explained that she felt hurt when Bure declined to take a photograph with her on a red carpet. A short while later, the actress from Full House apologized: “I’m sorry I broke your 11-year-old heart. I didn’t take a picture with you, and now I feel awful. JoJo, I truly am sorry.”

After resolving their differences, the two individuals were back on good terms. However, several months down the line, Candace was questioned about whether the Great American Family network, where she holds the position of chief creative officer, would portray same-sex couples as main characters in holiday movies. She responded negatively, explaining that the network will maintain traditional marriage as its central theme.

In 2021, JoJo publicly identified as part of the LGBTQ+ community and expressed on Instagram that the actress’ remark was “insensitive and painful for an entire group of individuals.”

In the month of June 2021, I found myself in a situation where I, being a follower of Courtney Love, accused Olivia Rodrigo of using our band Hole’s album cover for one of her promotional photos without giving proper credit. To this, Olivia graciously responded with, “I adore you and resonate so deeply with your work.” In response to her message, I warmly replied, “Olivia, consider it a gesture of goodwill. If you’re ever in London, do check out my favorite florist in Notting Hill! I’d be happy to share more details if you direct message me. Looking forward to reading your heartfelt note [winking face emoji].”

During an episode of “Watch What Happens Live”, the actor from “Happy Days” was questioned about his strained relationship with the star of “Forrest Gump” during the filming of the 1989 movie “Turner & Hooch”.

For 13 days, I had been overseeing the production of that movie. Then, I was summoned to Jeff Katzenberg’s office, where he told me, “Have all your things ready? Go home,” he said.

Winkler did, however, seem to get along with Hanks’ four-legged co-star. “I got along great, great with that dog,” he said. “Love that dog.”

He also refused to admit if he’s even seen the flick.

“You know what you did!”

Lovers of the show “The Hills” might recall that memorable phrase, spoken by Lauren during the season three debut. Their conflict traces back to when Heidi started dating her current spouse, Spencer Pratt, and reached its zenith when Lauren alleged that Heidi and Spencer had spread a rumor about her making a sex tape with Jason Wahler.

A longstanding dispute between costars flared up again when Tyrese criticized Dwayne on Instagram following the delay of the release date for Fast and Furious 9 to April 2020. Interestingly, it was disclosed on the same day that a Fast and Furious spinoff featuring Dwayne and Jason Statham would premier in cinemas as early as 2019. A month later, Tyrese hinted he might walk away from Fast 9 if Dwayne was involved in the production.

Later on, Tyrese spoke candidly about the disagreement during an appearance on “The Red Pill” podcast, saying, “So far, I haven’t spoken to The Rock directly, but we will have a chat.” He mentioned that he had discussed the matter with The Rock’s producing partner, but not with the actor himself.

Tyrese admitted that he was the one who publicly expressed feelings on behalf of several people linked to the franchise, while others kept their silence. He acknowledged that his actions were unprofessional and not cool.

No more bad blood here.

For many years, Taylor and Katy were involved in a long-standing disagreement, with Taylor’s song “Bad Blood” being said to be inspired by this conflict. The controversy, which was rumored to have begun due to disagreements over a backup dancer and competing tours, appeared to reach its conclusion when Perry extended an olive branch to Taylor prior to the start of her Reputation Tour.

Taylor shared a video on Instagram saying, “Just found a real olive branch in my dressing room! It means so much to me.”

Taylor captioned the video, “Thank you Katy.”

For quite some time, speculations about a rift between the co-stars of “Sex and the City,” specifically Kim and Sarah Jessica Parker, had been avoided. However, these rumors resurfaced when Kim opted not to participate in a third film, and subsequently made remarks about her costar that sparked curiosity.

Andy Cohen inquired about Sarah Jessica Parker’s response when Kim Cattrall stated they were only co-workers, not friends, during an episode of Watch What Happens Live that aired on September 2017.

She expressed that she was deeply saddened by the recent discussion. She had been troubled all week, as they talked about it, because her memory of their shared experience didn’t align with the current narrative.

She went on to say, “It’s unfortunate, but in a way, it feels like this shared professional journey has bonded us deeply. Over the years, it transcended into a personal aspect of our lives. Therefore, I hope that this long-lasting experience overshadows any more recent discussions.” She further emphasized, “Experiencing something so unique and meaningful together for such an extended period is truly a rare privilege.”

And though they didn’t film scenes together, Kim did make a small appearance on And Just Like That.

The renowned musicians have been engaged in a long-standing dispute since 2004. During the Q Awards where he received the Classic Songwriter Award that year, Elton John expressed his disagreement to the audience, saying, “Madonna, considered the best live performer? That’s absurd! When does miming count as live performance? I apologize for my language, but I believe anyone who lip-syncs on stage in public, especially when people pay around 75 pounds to watch them, should be criticized.”

In 2008, the actress who once played a leading role on “Grey’s Anatomy” started a dispute with the show’s creator. This happened when she decided not to be considered for Emmy Awards because she felt that the scripts provided to her character didn’t warrant a nomination.

Later on, Shonda spoke openly about Katherine’s choice during an interview with Oprah Winfrey on Oprah’s Next Chapter in 2012. She stated, “On one hand it hurt and on the other I wasn’t taken aback. When people reveal their true nature, take them at their word. That phrase has been a guide for me, and it has proven to be beneficial.”

During the New York Fashion Week, there was an intense argument between Nicki and Cardi that made headlines globally, which took place at the Harper’s Bazaar Icon party. A few weeks later, Cardi revealed what led to the altercation with Nicki.

For some time, she’s been firing numerous criticisms at me, Cardi stated in W magazine’s Art Issue. “We’ve talked twice prior, and reached a truce. However, she persisted with the attacks.”

The main cause of the dispute ignited when Cardi noticed that Nicki apparently gave a ‘thumbs up’ and then withdrew it from a tweet concerning Cardi’s abilities as a parent, an action that Nicki has since refuted.

“Instead of earning millions from my Bruno Mars tour, I chose to stay with my daughter,” Cardi explained. “I adore my child and consider myself a great mother. It confounds me when people without children make such comments. People often say that wasn’t the right time or place to discuss it, but I won’t judge another artist in the supermarket or nearby.”

The conflict between Kanye and Taylor Swift began in 2009 during her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards when Kanye interrupted her, a move that sparked their initial tension. “I don’t know her.”

For more than 15 years now, I, a die-hard fan, have been following the seemingly endless “feud” between Mariah and J.Lo. It all ignited when the Queen of Christmas was prompted to share her thoughts on various singers during an interview. When asked about Jennifer, she simply stated, “I’m not familiar with her.”
