As a long-time wrestling enthusiast who has followed the industry for decades, I must say, Giulia‘s NXT debut was nothing short of spectacular! The energy, the skill, and the intensity she brought to the ring were truly captivating. It felt like witnessing a star being born right before our eyes.
Last week, Giulia stepped onto the NXT stage for the first time, disrupting Chelsea Green’s performance, leading to a clash between the two on tonight’s episode of NXT. It’s no surprise that Giulia’s initial WWE ring appearance was impressive, showcasing her wide range of abilities and the powerful moves she’s famous for. However, Chelsea Green didn’t back down, putting Giulia under pressure at various stages of the match, such as when she hurled Giulia into the commentary table and then over it more than once. Despite these challenges, Giulia emerged victorious in her NXT debut, sending a clear message.
Hit The Ground Running
In this wrestling match, Giulia performed a dropkick on Green, sending him crashing to the mat. Subsequently, she attempted a swift pin, but Green managed to push herself free. In response, Green struck Giulia and unleashed a powerful kick towards her head, but Giulia retaliated with a counterattack, followed by the Spiderweb maneuver. A roll-up attempt ensued, yet again Green avoided defeat.
In a loud voice, Green declared she wasn’t prepared yet to the spectators. Subsequently, Green took a knee strike to the head, but managed to grab Giulia’s arm over the ropes and attempted a sleeper hold in the corner. However, Giulia raised Green, but Green broke free and performed a German Suplex. Next, Green delivered a harsh slam and went for a pin, only for Giulia to avoid defeat by kicking out.
Afterwards, Giulia attempted a cover, but Green managed to kick out. Then, Green initiated a submission hold. Giulia came close to being pinned, but she got her shoulder up in time. Subsequently, these two powerhouses traded blows before Giulia began relentlessly striking Green. Green retaliated with a suplex, and later, Green was momentarily dazed near the ring edge. Seizing this opportunity, Giulia executed a neckbreaker from the ring apron, sending both of them crashing to the floor.
A Strong Finish
Even though Green hadn’t finished yet, he tossed Giulia onto the announce table not once, but three times. The third throw sent Giulia tumbling to the floor. Later, Green attempted a missile dropkick from the top rope, but missed and was hit by Giulia’s knee strike instead. In response, Giulia executed a Northern Lights suplex followed by a pin, securing her victory with this maneuver.
In her first NXT bout, Giulia emerged victorious, sparking great anticipation for the upcoming CW premiere. This event will present a highly-anticipated one-on-one encounter between Giulia and Roxanne Perez, scheduled three weeks from now. Before then, it’s likely that Giulia will compete in additional matches, and the identities of her opponents are yet to be revealed. However, if recent developments are any indication, we may witness some prominent figures entering the ring to challenge WWE’s burgeoning sensation.
