In a recent interview, Yamamoto discussed her character, Keiko Miura, a scientist who studied monsters in the 1950s. At the end of the last season, Keiko fell into the Hollow Earth, and now finds herself lost in time. The show will present her with new and dangerous challenges. Yamamoto hinted, “She’s quickly thrown into the action after a brief, confusing start.”

Though very simple by today’s standards, the 1979 arcade game Warrior is widely considered the first fighting game. It featured two knights battling each other using basic vector graphics and a single button controller. What made Warrior unique was that it was the first non-sports game to allow two players to directly compete in one-on-one combat, paving the way for the more complex fighting games that would emerge over the next ten years.
It’s not unusual for the Avengers to experience a dip in popularity. The team has faced similar challenges before, becoming a less prominent version of its former glory. Twenty-one years ago, the Avengers were struggling until a groundbreaking storyline, New Avengers, revitalized them and ultimately made them the most popular team in comics. This same approach seems to be the key to their success again in 2026, and Marvel appears to recognize that.
As a fan, I’m really hoping Paramount starts digging into some of its older properties. There’s so much potential! We’ve been waiting for a World War Z sequel for ages, and a new Star Trek movie would be huge. But honestly, there’s one sci-fi series that I think is just perfect for a revival, and I can’t wait to see if they go for it.

Karl Urban recently told The Playlist he’d jump at the chance to return as Judge Dredd in a sequel. He really enjoyed playing the character, based on the popular 2000 AD comic book series, and had a great time making the original movie. Even if he isn’t involved, Urban says he’d be happy as long as more Dredd stories are told.

I’m still such a fan of the world created by The Big Bang Theory, and it’s amazing to see the franchise keep going with shows like Young Sheldon. Now, with Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, the creators are already building another story, and I love that it’s also set in the ’90s! But honestly, while I enjoy seeing these new stories, a lot of fans – myself included – are really hoping for a spin-off that focuses on the original group in the present day. It’s been a while since we’ve seen the Pasadena crew together on screen, except for that quick glimpse of Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik in the Young Sheldon finale, and I’m still craving more!
