As a seasoned legal analyst with years of experience under my belt, I find myself intrigued by the recent developments in the case of Diddy (Combs). New information has emerged regarding Sean “Diddy” Combs‘ legal troubles.

Approximately a week and a half since the rapper was apprehended by police in New York City for charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and facilitating prostitution, lawyer Marc Agnifilo is voicing his opinions on Combs’ alleged sexual misconduct incidents and the 1,000 bottles of baby oil found in his residence.

In the sneak peek for their upcoming documentary, The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment, Agnifilo clarified to TMZ that he’s unsure about the origin of the figure 1,000. He admitted it seems highly unlikely to him that it’s a matter of thousands.

After verifying the origin of the number being from a federal document, Combs’ legal representative promptly mentioned his uncertainty about how the topic of baby oil pertains to the situation, as it was proposed during the conversation that it might have been utilized for lubrication purposes in connection with sexual gatherings.

Agnifilo responded with a guess,” It seems to me… Each bottle of baby oil covers quite some ground. I can’t imagine why you’d require a thousand bottles of it.

And as for why he believes the music mogul had such a large store of baby oil to begin with?

According to Agnifilo, since he owns such a large house, it seems plausible that he does his shopping at warehouse-style stores like Costco, given that there’s likely one in every location where he has a residence.

He joked, “Have you sat in the parking lot of a Costco and see what people walk out of there with?”

Initially, Agnifilo expressed skepticism about the exact number of 1,000 bottles of baby oil, instead suggesting that “it was quite a large amount, not necessarily exactly a thousand.

Additionally, he spoke about the topic of “Freak Offs” as coined by Combs. He clarified to TMZ that while they were referred to as ‘freak offs’, during his childhood in the late 1970s, such occurrences were more commonly known as threesomes.

According to a federal indictment acquired by TopMob News, the “Freak Offs” are referred to as “detailed sexual performances” where women were allegedly forced, threatened, or coerced into performing prolonged sexual acts with male sex workers in commercial settings.

In the documentation, a 54-year-old individual was additionally charged with organizing, overseeing, performing intimate acts during, and frequently videotaping events known as “Freak Offs”. Furthermore, he was accused of trafficking sex workers between states and across international borders.

During Freak Offs, Combs supplied several types of drugs to his victims, partly to ensure their obedience and compliance. Additionally, these victims and Combs were frequently given IV fluids for recovery from the physical strain and drug consumption. The indictment also mentioned that Combs secretly recorded videos of sexual acts between his victims and sex workers without the victims’ knowledge.

The indictment further elaborated on the discovery of baby oil, stating that during searches of Combs’ homes in Miami, Florida, and Los Angeles, California, in approximately March 2024, law enforcement confiscated numerous Freak Off items, including narcotics and over a thousand bottles of baby oil and lubricant.

On September 16, Combs was taken into custody in New York City. During a court hearing on the following day, he denied guilt for allegations involving sex trafficking, racketeering, and facilitating prostitution.

Following his arrest, a video from 1999 featuring the founder of Bad Boys Entertainment surfaced, suggesting that he had foreshadowed his own future arrest due to his extravagant parties.

He told Entertainment Tonight that his parties would make quite an impact, perhaps even leading to shutdowns. He also hinted at possible arrests and wild antics, all in the name of enjoying ourselves excessively.

I find myself expressing, “They refuse to issue permits for my events, it seems. They appear to be against continuing these gatherings. However, we won’t let that dampen our spirits; we’re determined to keep the good times rolling. We’ll continue to unite individuals from all walks of life.

On September 16, 2024, as reported by NBC News, he was taken into custody in the lobby of a New York hotel. The specific charges against him are yet undisclosed, and it’s uncertain if this arrest is connected in any way to recent raids.

In a statement given to TopMob News, lawyer Marc Agnifilo expressed disappointment over the U.S. Attorney’s Office’s decision to pursue a prosecution of Mr. Combs that they consider unfair. They believe he is not a criminal, despite being an imperfect individual. To show his cooperation with the investigation, Mr. Combs moved voluntarily to New York last week in preparation for these charges.

The lawyer added, “Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”

After Combs was arrested based on the sealed indictment, the indictment was unsealed on Sept. 17.

The 54-year-old was charged with racketeering conspiracy; sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; as well as transportation to engage in prostitution, according to court documents obtained by NBC News.

The indictment alleged Combs “abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct” for more than a decade, with prosecutors saying the purported behavior started around 2008.

“To do so,” the documents stated, “Combs relied on the employees, resources, and influence of the multi-faceted business empire that he led and controlled—creating a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in, and attempted to engage in, among other crimes, sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.”

As per NBC News reports, Combs asserted his innocence and was denied bail by the court. His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, expressed before the trial that he would put up a strong fight on Combs’ behalf with unwavering determination, echoing the confidence of his legal team.

After his apprehension, Combs was kept at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center and was not granted a $50 million bail. This influential figure in music was also put under suicide precautions, a standard practice for well-known prisoners, according to TopMob News sources.

He was assigned the same area of the jail as cryptocurrency fraudster Sam Bankman-Fried, a source told NBC News.
