Even though the next PlayStation is likely a couple of years away – or even longer – it’s still fun to consider what new features it might have.

In a recent interview with IGN, studio founder and CEO Matt Webster explained that this is a fully-featured release. He stated they’ve included a campaign, arcade mode, and multiplayer, making it a complete package.

Anya Taylor-Joy became a star thanks to her role as Elizabeth Harmon, a brilliant but troubled chess player, in the 2020 Netflix miniseries The Queen’s Gambit. The show was an instant success when it premiered in October, quickly becoming Netflix’s most popular program ever. It dominated awards shows, winning eleven Primetime Emmys and two Golden Globes, including a Best Actress award for Taylor-Joy. Many expected Netflix to continue the story as a full series – which is now common practice – but six years later, fans are still hoping to see what happens next.

A new book titled “The Art of the Movie” for Spider-Man: Brand New Day was recently listed on the Penguin Random House website, hinting at a release later this year. While the book currently has a placeholder cover and an August release date, the listing includes a complete plot summary – a major reveal since Sony and Marvel haven’t officially shared those details yet. This is exciting news for fans eagerly awaiting the trailer, and the plot seems to confirm many of the rumors circulating online.

A good example of this is the movie I Am Number Four, which was adapted from the book of the same name by Pittacus Lore (a pen name for author James Frey). It came out in theaters on February 18, 2011, with the intention of launching a new science fiction film series. At the time, the second book in the series, The Power of Six, was scheduled to be released soon, and more movies were planned. Sadly, I Am Number Four only earned $149.9 million worldwide, despite costing $60 million to make, so any sequels were cancelled. Still, fans of the books haven’t completely given up hope.

Adult Swim is bringing a new animated series called My Two Cars to its lineup. Created by Dan Licata and Joe Pera – known for his live-action show Joe Pera Talks With You on Adult Swim – the series is delightfully strange. Each episode centers around the main character’s daily dilemma of choosing which of his two cars to drive. You can get a first look at My Two Cars below.

This is precisely why the Norse-themed God of War games were so different – they revamped the setting, gameplay, and, importantly, gave Kratos more depth as a character. This fresh start was desperately needed, and the newer games have solidified the franchise’s place as a key PlayStation title.
