It’s a good thing that they’re both sincere and naturally attracted to one another. Our hope is that they can rediscover themselves through this relationship.

Rivals is set in 1986. Have things got better for women since then?

Previous generations, including my mom’s, often chose to set aside their abilities to prioritize their husbands, a practice which has undoubtedly shifted significantly from the era when Jilly Cooper wrote. However, it remains important to reflect on the past to identify areas that require continued progress.
