Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen will be excited to hear the anime returns in January with a brand new season! A sneak peek has been released showing what to expect from the first two episodes. This season marks a big shift for the series, and Yuji Itadori is about to face a lot of challenges. After a long wait, the anime is kicking off this new phase with a special double-length premiere.
The highly anticipated return of Jujutsu Kaisen, focusing on the Culling Game arc, is set for January 8th. The new season will kick off with a special premiere of its first two episodes. Similar to a sneak peek event held in December with the Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution movie, viewers will be able to watch the initial episodes right away. The official anime website has also released first-look images for Season 3, Episode 1, hinting at plenty of action and excitement to come.
How to Watch Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Episode 1
The first two episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen: Culling Game Part 1 will be available on Crunchyroll outside of Japan starting January 8th at 9:00 AM Pacific Time. This release includes English subtitles and will be available in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, India, and Southeast Asia. While a release date for the English dub hasn’t been announced yet, the new season will feature many new characters and voice actors.
Season 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen welcomes several new voice actors, including Kazuya Nakai as Kinji Hakari, Yuki Sakakihara as Kirara Hoshi, Tomokazu Sugita as Hiromi Higuruma, Satoshi Tsuruoka as Fumihiko Takaba, Yutaka Aoyama as Reggie Star, Neeko as Kogane, and Yoshiko Sakakibara as Tengen. This is just a preview of the new talent joining the series, and more voice actors will be announced as the season progresses.
What’s Happening in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3?
The first part of the Jujutsu Kaisen: Culling Game arc kicks off after the intense Shibuya Incident. Kenjaku has initiated a dangerous new tournament, the Culling Game, with powerful Cursed Spirits unleashed across Japan. He aims to harness the resulting chaos and power clashes to advance his mysterious plan, and this battle will involve not only Yuji and his allies, but many other people as well.
The upcoming Culling Game will feature both powerful, ancient spirits reborn in new hosts, assisting Kenjaku, and a wave of newly empowered sorcerers who developed their abilities after the events of the Shibuya Incident. With so many factors converging, the story is rapidly building towards its ultimate conclusion, and fans should prepare for a dramatic turn of events.
