Will Chad Michael Murray Return for One Tree Hill Reboot? He Says…

Oh, the thrill I get when I hear about Chad Michael Murray! As a die-hard fan since his days on One Tree Hill, it brings me immense joy to see him thriving and embracing new challenges in his career. The prospect of a reboot sends my heart aflutter, and while I’m not sure what the future holds for Lucas Scott, I can only hope that Chad finds his way back to Tree Hill High.

Chad Michael Murray doesn’t want to be anything other than what he’s been tryna be lately.

However, it’s not entirely that he rejects going back to his past. In fact, the former star of One Tree Hill (the character Lucas Scott from the renowned WB series) expressed his thoughts on potentially being involved in a reboot.

In a private conversation with TopMob News, Chad expressed his desire for the show to take place, and then hinted about his character’s uncertain future: “I can’t predict what will happen to me.” (Stay tuned to TopMob News tonight, Nov. 18, for more from Chad)

Although the actor from “Freaky Friday” isn’t certain about his character’s future, he’s thrilled at the possibility of the series, featuring stars like Sophia Bush, Bethany Joy Lenz, Hilarie Burton, and James Lafferty, coming back to life.

He enthusiastically shared how the past 24 years of being part of the “One Tree Hill” fanbase has been an extraordinary journey. For every person who was shaped by this show during their formative years, he expressed his hope that they too can have a similar experience.

Regardless, the 43-year-old, who is married to Sarah Roemer and has three children with her, expressed uncertainty about his potential comeback to Tree Hill High School.

He continued by expressing his uncertainty, but made it clear that he deeply wishes for any version of that show to satisfy its fans.

What does Chad believe without a doubt? His most recent role in Netflix’s “The Merry Gentlemen,” where he portrayed Luke, the romantic lead and a member of an all-male dance troupe, was the “most enjoyable” filmmaking experience he’d ever had.

He excitedly shared, “It was something I had never encountered before that initially filled me with sheer dread. However, once I immersed myself in it, I found myself falling in love with the experience. It’s like a rush of dopamine when you’re performing for 12 hours straight in front of such a large audience.

In simpler terms, the actor from Gilmore Girls mentioned that his children were quite enthusiastic about his new role, particularly in helping him get into shape for it.

Chad shared that they would go into the garage for training sessions,” he said. “His daughter often wanted to join him on his equipment and would say, ‘I’m your coach today, I want 25 reps.’ She was so cute. That’s a regular part of our family routine now.

Merry Gentlemen hits Netflix Nov. 20.
