As a huge fan of The Traitors, I don’t think anything has ever quite matched the shock of Diane and Ross’s reveal! But honestly, the idea of another parent and child playing the game? That could be absolutely incredible, and maybe even top it!
Tonight’s episode of The Traitors was full of surprises and kept viewers on the edge of their seats! The show kicked off by revealing a hidden Traitor, and things got even more interesting when it was discovered that two of the contestants were actually mother and daughter.
Everyone was surprised because the two contestants hadn’t met or even spoken before the announcement, and they don’t intend to connect in the future.
Because people suspected Judy of being a traitor, Roxy led her outside the castle. Rumors were spreading that Judy was secretly working against the other players.
Roxy exclaimed that James was wildly accusing Judy of being a traitor. While she doesn’t know if the accusation is true – she actually thinks Judy seems very nice – she admitted she’s naturally biased because Judy is her mother, finishing the statement with a dramatic flourish.
She explained they’re keeping things private because she sees their relationship as a strong partnership. She’s very protective of her partner and doesn’t like it when people question her choices or motives.

Judy explained she adopted Roxy when she was about five years old, and called it the best decision she’d ever made.
Judy described her as a wonderful person, both in character and appearance, and cautioned against underestimating her strength.
Mike Cotton, creative director at Studio Lamber, explained that a fun aspect of their show is that contestants can reveal hidden parts of their lives, including past or current relationships, as seen with the Judy and Roxy storyline.
You know, as a viewer, it’s interesting to realize the filmmakers didn’t pre-plan when to reveal this particular plot point. They really filmed everything and then, based on how the story unfolded in editing and test screenings, they decided the best moment to drop it. It’s a more organic approach, letting the story itself dictate the reveal, rather than forcing it at a specific time.
Honestly, it hasn’t even occurred to anyone that Judy and Roxy might be connected, and I get the feeling the Faithful would not be happy if they found out. It’s even more complicated because it looks like two other players have a connection too – this is getting juicy!
Ross and Nettie were happily surprised to see each other on the show, as it had been over ten years since they last met. Although they aren’t collaborating on anything, this appearance might be enough to get people talking about them.
