V Rising first launched as an early access game in May 2022, and the full version 1.0 became available in 2024. Is V Rising Worth Playing in 2026?
It’s surprisingly difficult to find truly great vampire games. The recent release of Bloodlines 2 served as a reminder of this, as it didn’t quite live up to the hype. However, V Rising appears to be a genuinely good one. It combines satisfying open-world RPG gameplay with the option to play with others. You’ll find exciting vampire action alongside more relaxed activities like gathering resources and building a base, making it enjoyable for both action and cozy game lovers. If you’ve always wanted a game where you can freely live out your vampire fantasy, V Rising is definitely worth a look.
Okay, so I’ve been checking out V Rising on Steam, and it’s seriously good – it has a ‘Very Positive’ rating, which is awesome. What’s really cool is that it still has a dedicated player base even though it’s been in Early Access for three years! People love how rewarding it feels to level up, the story is actually pretty engaging, and the game just looks great. It’s easily one of the best vampire games I’ve played. Usually it costs around $35, but right now it’s on sale for just $15.49 – the lowest price ever on Steam! If you’ve been thinking about getting it, now’s the time, because I doubt it’ll be this cheap again for a while.
