Andy Cohen Addresses Plastic Surgery Rumors After NYE Special

Andy Cohen isn’t pleading the fifth when it comes to plastic surgery rumors.

Andy Cohen responded to online chatter about his appearance after people commented on his co-hosting role with his friend Anderson Cooper during CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live broadcast on December 31st.

A Threads user expressed shock on January 1st after seeing new footage of Andy Cohen from New Year’s Eve, questioning what cosmetic procedures he may have had done to his face.

Okay, so Andy – seriously, he’s amazing – finally talked about why he looks so good! He actually explained what goes into maintaining that incredible physique during the yearly special. I’ve been waiting for him to address this forever, and it was everything I hoped for!

He shared on social media on January 2nd that he’d had a little Botox, lost twenty pounds, and was wearing a lot of makeup.

A few months ago, Andy—father to 6-year-old Ben and 3-year-old Lucy—talked about his experience using a weight loss medication similar to Ozempic.

In September, during his SiriusXM radio show, Andy Cohen shared that he lost a significant amount of weight this summer by using a GLP-1 medication. He explained that he and his doctor had discussed it last year, as he was unhappy with his weight and also wanted to address concerns about plaque buildup in his arteries and high blood pressure.

Andy explained that the medication offers a lot of health benefits, and he’d finally agreed to take it.

He also mentioned that he still enjoys a drink now and then, but he’s stopped eating unnecessary snacks and now follows a very strict workout plan. He says he’s in the best shape of his life.

Andy maintained he’d always intended to share his experience with the drug, explaining that his role involves asking personal questions both on his talk show and when hosting Real Housewives reunions.

I don’t think it’s right for me to be the one asking the Housewives such personal questions – about their procedures, weight loss, and so on – when I’m not being upfront about my own recent 25-pound weight loss. It feels hypocritical.

Andy isn’t alone in being open about how he looks. Many other celebrities have also been honest about their appearance, and you can find out more about them by continuing to read.
