The much-awaited PlayStation State of Play in February 2025 has arrived, showcasing some of the most significant unveilings for the PS5. Among these, the long-anticipated looter shooter by Gearbox Software, Borderlands 4, was one of them. Not only did a new trailer debut, displaying fresh gameplay, but we were also granted a release date.
On September 23rd, “Borderlands 4” is set to launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and personal computers. You can watch the trailer of it right here below.
The description for “Borderlands 4” goes like this: This game is an explosive blend of looter shooting, brimming with countless weapons, absurd adversaries, and electrifying cooperative play. Delve into the perilous, concealed world of planet Kairos as one of four fearless Vault Hunters.
Escape from the tyrannical rule of the Timekeeper, a merciless leader who rules over the populace from above. However, a cataclysmic event looms, shaking his meticulously crafted system, causing chaos worldwide. Fuel a rebellion and charge through mechanical horrors, ruthless outlaws, and ferocious creatures using innovative movement techniques such as double jumping, gliding, dodging, fixed-point grappling, and other exciting features.
The announcement of Borderlands 4 occurred at The Game Awards a year ago. While the debut trailer showcased some gameplay clips, many parts consisted of cinematic scenes depicting the forthcoming shooter.
