Recently released games like Final Fantasy 16 (2023), which came seven years after Final Fantasy 15, haven’t been followed up with any news about the next installment, Final Fantasy 17. The same is true for Dragon Quest: while we’ve seen remakes of older titles like Dragon Quest 1 & 2 HD-2D Remake and Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined, a release date for Dragon Quest 12: The Flame of Fate is still unknown, even though Dragon Quest 11 was released back in 2017.

Okay, so the reviews for Forza Horizon 6 are finally out, and everyone seems to love it! Seriously, it’s currently sitting at a 92 on Metacritic, which is the highest score any game has gotten all year. It’s pretty amazing because no other game in 2026 has even broken 90 yet. Pokemon Pokopia and Resident Evil Requiem came closest, both with 89s, but Forza Horizon 6 is definitely the one to beat!
