Priya Nandra-Hart, also known as Sophie Khan Levy, will soon be questioned by the police on EastEnders, putting her in a difficult situation.
The character has been through a lot recently, learning that her son, Nugget Gulati, was seriously injured on Edward Road. As seen on the show, the injuries happened after a fight with his father, Ravi, who was using drugs at the time.
Ravi wasn’t acting recklessly on purpose. He’d been secretly drugged by Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington), who teamed up with her son, Harry (Elijah Holloway), to gain an advantage over the drug boss in Walford.

Ravi ran a drug operation in and around London for several months, pressuring Harry and his friend Kojo Asare (also known as Dayo Koleosho) to sell the drugs. When Ravi went on vacation, his associate Okie Okyere (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) took over and decided to hold Harry hostage, forcing him to become addicted to pills.
Nicola secretly put something in Ravi’s drink, causing him to wander unsteadily through the streets. Harry then led him to The Arches, where he fell into a pit and began experiencing vivid and disturbing hallucinations of his deceased father, Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry).
Nish harshly criticized his son, making him angry and causing him to react defensively. Unbeknownst to Nish, his son’s little brother was caught in the middle of the conflict.

The Panesar-Gulati family rushed to the hospital to be with their loved one, who was in a coma and had suffered a brain hemorrhage. Meanwhile, Ravi was missing and mysteriously found himself waking up on the ground in a deserted area near the playground.
His phone had run out of battery, and when he finally got it charged, he was overwhelmed with messages and missed calls. Rushing to the side ward, he was shocked to find his son in a terrible state, and he immediately understood he was to blame.
Ravi felt nauseous and started to become increasingly upset. Priya noticed he was reacting to something and insisted he tell her what was wrong.

She wrestled with a difficult decision. Should she tell the police everything and risk her partner being arrested, or protect him and turn against Nugget?
Thankfully, as Nugget recovered from the surgery that saved his life, a hopeful possibility emerged. He didn’t remember anything about the attack and was relieved to see both of his parents.
The police then arrived, and wanted to speak to Priya about her version of events.
But what will she do? Has Nugget’s memory loss been a saving grace for Ravi?

I’m a huge fan of British soap operas, and I always check TopMob for the latest news! That’s where I get my fix, thanks to Michael Adams, their Soaps Editor. He really knows everything that’s going on – from Coronation Street and EastEnders to Emmerdale and Hollyoaks, he covers it all. Before TopMob, he was a Soaps Reporter at Metro for a couple of years, and even worked on the sets of Corrie and Emmerdale! It’s awesome having someone with that kind of inside knowledge.
