Leanne Amaning is heading back to the Love Island villa after six years, this time in South Africa, hoping to find love again.
Leanne didn’t have a very strong run on the show, getting caught in a love triangle with Mike and Sophie. It ended with Mike choosing Sophie, which was tough for Leanne.
She hasn’t been deterred though and is hoping that this time around she’ll find the one.
Wondering what Leanne Amaning has been doing since appearing on Love Island? Here’s an update on the All Stars contestant as she makes her comeback to television.

Who is Leanne Amaning?
Leanne Amaning is a 28-year-old actress and TV personality who first became known on the show Love Island in 2020.
Before becoming a reality TV star, she worked in customer service. Since leaving the show, she’s become a content creator and has also started acting.
I saw her perform in this really fun romantic comedy play called “I think I might cheat on my girlfriend” at the Pleasance Theatre in London last year – 2023, if I remember correctly. It was a great show!
What season of Love Island was Leanne Amaning on?

Leanne Amaning was a contestant on Winter Love Island, the show’s sixth season which aired in 2020. She was initially paired with Mike Boateng, but later lost romantic interest in him – a feeling commonly known as ‘the ick’.
Honestly, I was a little surprised when she got eliminated from Love Island on day eighteen. It all happened because Mike decided he wanted to be with Sophie Piper instead, and that was that.
What has Leanne Amaning done since Love Island 2020?
Since then, Leanne has been on Ex on the Beach and was also considered for last year’s All Stars season. However, she decided to leave the show before filming actually began.
She explained that as the show continued, she felt increasingly out of place and lost interest in participating.
Why is Leanne Amaning returning for Love Island All Stars?
Heading into the villa, Leanne wants to be “open in the way that I should have been in series 6“.
She went on to say that she feels much more mature and self-aware after six years. She’s learned a lot and now has a clearer understanding of her goals, allowing her to approach things in a calmer, more rational way.
“I didn’t even know myself before but now I’m dating from a completely different perspective.”
