The Miller Family may be returning to Netflix.
Following the success of Adolescence at the 2026 Golden Globes, where it won four awards, star Stephen Graham hinted at the possibility of a second season of the limited series, which he co-created with Jack Thorne.
The actor told Deadline during the 83rd annual ceremony that he and Jack both remember the answer, but it’s currently lost in their memories. He hinted they’ll likely reveal it in three or four years, so fans should keep an eye out.
Stephen, recently honored with a Best Actor award for his work in a limited series, is focusing on the positive effect the Netflix show has had on its audience. He was especially touched when a father and son shared that watching it helped them connect with each other.
He told reporters after his win at the Beverly Hilton that it was unbelievable. A woman had approached him and become emotional while sharing how his work had positively influenced a friend’s son, helping him make better life choices.
As he added, that’s “the biggest honor I could ever ask for.”
The first season of the show centered around 13-year-old Jamie (Owen Cooper), who became a suspect in the death of his classmate, Katie Leonard (Emilia Holliday), after she didn’t return his romantic feelings.
And for those who watched, well, Stephen has an ask.
Oh my gosh, he’s SO right! I just want to shout to all the parents out there: please, please just hug your kids tight! Tell them how much you adore them, and really listen when they want to share something. He said to always keep the bedroom door open – like, always be available – and just… talk to each other! It’s so simple, but it means everything. I’m going to go hug my little sibling right now, honestly!

Stephen wasn’t the only actor from Adolescence to win an award. Owen, who played a character that eventually confessed to murder, became the youngest performer to receive the Best Supporting Actor award for a TV series.
He told reporters how incredibly proud he was of the show. It was made with a lot of passion, and it was a truly special production. They never imagined it would achieve this level of success – being recognized with Emmys and Critics Choice Awards, or even reaching an international audience. The entire cast and crew are deeply grateful for this experience.
