I’m really excited for what’s coming for One Piece fans in 2026! Netflix just released a new trailer for Season 2 of the live-action series, and it looks fantastic – we’re getting a better look at characters like Nico Robin and organizations like Baroque Works. It seems like a lot is happening with the One Piece franchise this year, and the return of the live-action show on Netflix is the first big event. The first season was a huge success, and everything points to the new season being even better.
Netflix will release the first episode of One Piece: Into the Grand Line this spring, and a new trailer for the second season has just been released. The trailer shows Luffy and the Straw Hat crew entering the Grand Line and battling exciting new enemies. You can watch the trailer below, courtesy of Netflix.
When Does One Piece Season 2 Come Out on Netflix?
The live-action series One Piece will launch globally on Netflix on March 10th. The first season will have eight episodes and cover the Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island storylines from Eiichiro Oda’s original One Piece manga. Viewers will be introduced to the Baroque Works, the first major group of villains Luffy and the Straw Hat crew will face as they begin their adventures in the dangerous Grand Line.
The new trailer features Lera Abova as the enigmatic Miss All Sunday, Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday, David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5, Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9, and Sophia Anne Caruso as Miss Goldenweek. However, these actors are just a few of the Baroque Works members showcased, and many more from the group will appear as the story builds toward the Alabasta Saga in the upcoming third season.
Netflix’s One Piece Season 3 Is Now in Production
Netflix is currently filming the third season of its live-action One Piece series. Creator Eiichiro Oda has announced that this season will conclude the Alabasta Saga, which begins in the second season. We’ll see more characters from Baroque Works, including Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0, who will have a larger part, along with Lera Abova (Miss All Sunday), Mikaela Hoover (Tony Tony Chopper), and Sendhil Ramamurthy (Nefartari Cobra).
The live-action series is adding some exciting new faces for its third season! Xolo Maridueña will play Portgas D. Ace, while Cole Escola joins the cast as Bon Clay. Awdo Awdo will portray Mr. 1, and Daisy Head will play Miss Doublefinger. More cast members are expected to be announced after the second season premieres, which is set to release in March. Fans will have to wait a little longer to see everything come together as production continues.
