Colman Domingo hinted at what’s coming in Euphoria season 3, suggesting it will be bigger and more complex than previous seasons.
In an interview with Deadline, Domingo described the upcoming season as visually stunning and incredibly ambitious, predicting it will redefine television and feel more like a movie than a typical TV show.
Domingo will reprise his role as Ali Muhammad, a recovering drug addict and Rue Bennett’s (Zendaya) sponsor. This season, viewers will learn more about Ali’s past, with Domingo hinting that the show will reveal the experiences that shaped him into the person he is today.
He mentioned that the show will likely reveal some of Ali’s backstory, which will help viewers understand his motivations and personality.

Good news for Euphoria fans: season 3 is scheduled to premiere in April 2026.
As a big fan, I’m really hoping we in the UK get new episodes at the same time as viewers in the US! HBO Max launching here in March makes me think that might actually happen, which would be amazing.
Sydney Sweeney, appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, gave fans a preview of the upcoming season, describing her character Cassie as “crazy” and hinting she’ll be even more so this season.
At a December event in London, the creator of the show, Sam Levinson, shared (according to Variety) that the new season will begin five years after the events of season two.
The story begins with Rue in Mexico, just across the border, where she owes money to a woman named Laurie. She’s desperately trying to find creative solutions to pay off her debt.
Following rumors about Cassie and Nate’s complicated relationship, show creator Levinson has confirmed they are getting married. He promises their wedding will be a night viewers won’t forget.

He also shared what the characters are up to after high school. Jules (Hunter Schafer) is at art school, feeling anxious about becoming a professional painter and really trying to avoid any serious commitments. Maddy (Alexa Demie) is working in Hollywood at a talent agency, helping a manager, and of course, she’s also pursuing some other projects on the side.
Lexi, played by Maude Apatow, works as an assistant to a showrunner portrayed by the wonderful Sharon Stone, who is a genuine icon.
The show will feature the return of several well-known actors, plus some exciting new additions like Spanish singer Rosalía, YouTuber Trisha Paytas, Natasha Lyonne from Poker Face, Danielle Deadwyler of Till, horror director Eli Roth, and former NFL player Marshawn Lynch.
