Andrew Garfield is going tick, tick… blonde.
The actor, who has been nominated for an Oscar, showed off a noticeably lighter hairstyle while on a date in Las Vegas with actress Monica Barbaro. They were seen enjoying a performance by the famous magic duo, Penn and Teller.
Andrew, 42, and Monica, 35, shared a backstage photo on Instagram on January 12th with a famous pair. Andrew, known for playing Spider-Man, wore a blue baseball cap and tan hoodie, keeping his long hair covered. Monica, who starred in A Complete Unknown, wore a white button-down shirt with gold hoop earrings and a pendant necklace.
Andrew didn’t just change his hairstyle; he was also clean-shaven for the event. He had shaved off his beard earlier that year at the Venice Film Festival, but grew it back for the London premiere of After the Hunt two months later.
Rumors of a romance between Andrew and Monica began in January 2025 when they were seen together at a W Magazine party in Los Angeles. The following month, they further sparked speculation by attending a performance of Jonathan Bailey’s play, Richard II, in London’s West End.
I’ve been following their relationship closely, and it was so sweet to see them share so many fun moments! They really seemed to hit their stride with nights like the Vanity Fair Oscars Party back in March. Even though Andrew didn’t join Monica at the Met Gala in May, he was there for her afterward, which was really thoughtful. Cosmopolitan actually captured a video of them greeting each other at The Mark Hotel – it was a really cute moment!
Although Andrew and Monica have been seen together often, they haven’t said anything about whether they’re dating. Considering Andrew usually keeps his private life private, it’s unlikely they’ll make any official announcements soon.
In an October 2024 interview with Esquire, Andrew stated he will never discuss his personal life with anyone, refusing to confirm or deny anything about it. He emphasized this would be a lifelong policy.
