RHOBH’s Jennifer Tilly Reacts to Sutton Stracke “Snapping” at Her

Tensions are climbing between Jennifer Tilly and Sutton Stracke. 

Longtime friends and stars of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are facing ongoing issues in season 15 of the Bravo show, and tensions recently reached a peak during a group dinner.

Let me tell you, things got real on our recent trip to Sedona! Sutton and new cast member Amanda Frances were just finishing up a pretty intense discussion – Erika Jayne even playfully called Amanda a bit of a gossip! – when Jennifer jumped in trying to join the conversation. It was definitely a moment, and trust me, there’s plenty more where that came from!

Jennifer started to say something, but Sutton interrupted her with a frustrated, “Please, just stop.”

Jennifer initially clarified she hadn’t been discussing the previous topic, but then admitted she didn’t have anything worthwhile to add and chose to remain silent.

The actress known for playing Chucky, who became a cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in its fourteenth season, later said in a private interview that her conversation with Sutton might have been the final issue in their strained relationship.

“When people are snapping at you,” she began, “eventually it affects you.”

Oh my god, then it CUT to these two moments with Jennifer and Sutton, and honestly, I was LIVING for Sutton’s response in one of them. Jennifer was being… a lot, and Sutton just calmly, but firmly, said, ‘That’s not what this is about, Jennifer, and you cannot mock me.’ It was perfect. Like, Sutton finally standing up for herself and it was so satisfying to watch! I rewound it like five times.

On the plane, Jennifer playfully told Sutton, “We made it here first! I expected you to be late, but it seems you’re taking care of everything, as usual.”

“Why are you being sarcastic with me right away? Please don’t do that,” the 54-year-old said.

For Jennifer, the small tiffs have started to take their toll.

She explained it like this: ‘It starts small, like a single drop of water hitting a rock. You think, ‘This isn’t a problem, I can handle this.’ But over time, that constant dripping actually wears away at the stone, creating a hole.’

As a lifestyle observer, I’m keeping a close eye on the dynamic between Jennifer and Sutton on RHOBH – their tension is definitely something viewers are talking about! It’s interesting, though, because despite everything, Sutton actually shared a really lovely birthday message for Jennifer back in September. It just goes to show things aren’t always as straightforward as they seem, and there’s often more to a relationship than what we see on screen. We’ll have to keep watching to see how their story unfolds this season.

This one-season Housewife brought nothing to the Orange County table.

The newest cast member on The Real Housewives of Utah had a dramatic and short-lived run on the show. In January 2022, Jennie was let go after old, offensive Facebook posts with racially insensitive content came to light. She later issued an apology, but the show had already decided to remove her from the cast.

Her defining trait was “cougar.”

Dr. Jen didn’t cause much drama during season 16, and her short-lived marital issues with her husband, Ryne, weren’t particularly exciting. But we’ll always remember her getting visibly intoxicated on wine at the Dubrows’ famously uncomfortable – but surprisingly fun – dinner party.

The nurse anesthetist’s initial season was a disaster, best remembered by the embarrassing incident now known as “Esophagus-gate.”

Katie frequently discussed her charitable efforts, but she didn’t offer much else when filming. She made brief appearances and didn’t really participate as a supportive friend. Plus, leaving the cast’s trip early is a major breach of etiquette for a reality show cast member.

Charrisse is mostly remembered for her highly publicized marital issues during her two seasons on the show, as well as her famously lavish champagne room.

A one-and-done Housewife, Shamari was at least fun?

As someone who follows the Real Housewives closely, I have to say, while it was refreshing to see a bit more diversity added to the Orange County cast, Peggy just didn’t quite fit in during season 12. Honestly, her conflicts felt really strange – often stemming from misunderstandings of simple words – and her behavior on the Iceland trip, specifically shutting herself away for a whole day, showed me she wasn’t really suited for the demands of this lifestyle. It was a bit disappointing to watch, to be honest.

Nneka’s first season on the show focused on a dramatic and unbelievable conflict: she claimed Wendy Osefo’s mother was a witch. It was disappointing to see this instead of a connection forming between the two Nigerian women, and it left their issues unresolved. We hoped they would connect over their shared background.

Noella brought a lot of energy to season 16 of the show. Although viewers felt for her because of her difficult personal life – her husband, James, unexpectedly filed for divorce just before filming began – it was her ongoing conflict with Heather Dubrow that really kept her from being seen as the least interesting cast member. Perhaps with more time on the show, viewers will connect with Noella.

It’s rare to see a Real Housewife’s reputation decline so quickly. She went from being a peacemaker in her first season to facing accusations of anti-Semitism and complaining about a cake being thrown in her second – and final – season.

Amber and Jim both appeared to be acting out of desperation. However, Jim seemed much more caught up in the problems than Amber, which didn’t look good for him.

The only thing most people recall about Karent is that she worked as a dentist, and apparently her colleagues didn’t get along with her. Moving on!

This was a real person with a show on Bravo. We promise.

Jules was only on RHONY for one season, so it’s hard to place her higher on a ranking list. Still, she definitely brought plenty of drama during her time on the show.

So unnecessary they couldn’t even get individual taglines.

Similar to her colleague Sara Al Madani, Nina was a successful Arab woman who skillfully balanced a modern lifestyle with her cultural heritage. She generally stayed out of the season’s conflicts, and at times, her quieter personality was less noticeable compared to her more outgoing co-stars.

Taleen joined the second season of RHODubai and made a good impression, but it’s hard to get a full sense of her personality after only seeing one season of the show.

Though she appeared on seasons 11 and 12 of America’s Next Top Model, this reality star didn’t make a significant impact on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, mostly known for being pregnant throughout her time on the show. She did deliver a memorable confrontation with Marlo Hampton while in Tokyo, though!

Usually, we like to see how a new Housewife does over a couple of seasons before ranking them highly. But Katie made a huge impact right away on season 18 of RHOC, immediately challenging veteran cast member Heather Dubrow. It takes guts to question someone like Ms. Dubrow!

To be frank, Stephanie didn’t really impress us. Although she had the potential to be a good addition to the show because of her wealth, we were turned off by how she constantly used her private jet to try and control the other cast members during season seven. It just didn’t sit right with us.

Maybe Steph can redeem herself if she returns for season eight.

Sara had a consistently positive and optimistic attitude, which made her a pleasure to be around, though things were rarely exciting with her – except for the memorable instance when she gave some unsolicited parenting advice to her co-star, Caroline Brooks. More importantly, she challenged common assumptions about modern Muslim women in the Middle East, and that’s something to be celebrated.

The new cast members on season 13 of RHONJ quickly fell into familiar patterns of the show, getting caught up in a drawn-out and ultimately meaningless argument, as pointed out by Andy Cohen. Sadly, they didn’t offer much more depth or interesting content in season 14 either.

Honestly, Larsa didn’t really stand out when she was first on the show. But when RHOM came back on Peacock in 2021, it felt like her whole story revolved around being Kim Kardashian’s former best friend – and, let’s be real, all the attention around her selling photos on OnlyFans!

After appearing on Bravo TV for one season, Ana tried out for season 12 of Next Food Network Star in 2016, but wasn’t selected.
