The final Ashes of the Damned Relic in Black Ops 7 Zombies has been found at last — here’s how to get Samantha’s Drawing

If you play Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies often, you likely know how difficult it can be to find the final Relic on the Ashes of the Damned map.

After a long search, we’ve finally found the last Tier 2 Relic! Samantha’s Drawing was the only one missing from the set of nine, and thankfully, it’s relatively easy to obtain.

I’m not very good at the Zombies game myself, but I followed along as YouTuber Lazarus Rising explained how it works and played through it. You can see his gameplay in the short video linked below.

Essentially, the process is:

  • Be in at least Cursed Tier I.
  • Throw weapons, beginning with the starting gray tier pistol into Chompy.
  • In order, throw a blue, purple, and then a legendary tier weapon into Chompy.
  • Progress to at least round 40.
  • Throw a Wonder Weapon into Chompy.

After finishing everything, the portal will appear in the Cosmodrome. The Relic Trial removes regular ammo sources, but stronger enemies will still drop some ammo.

Once you finish, you’ll get Samantha’s Relic. If you’ve already unlocked the other eight Relics, you’ll also finish the Reliquary Calling Card challenge.

Considering Ashes of the Damned was the first map available in Black Ops 7 and is a valuable ‘Tier 2 Relic,’ it’s surprising it took so long to discover. The process of finding it wasn’t particularly complicated, especially when you consider the elaborate methods players have already attempted.

I’ve been hearing rumors that something was secretly messed with in the game and quietly patched in the latest update. If true – and Relics are supposed to be super rare and hidden – that would be a really shady move by Treyarch, honestly.

Okay, so it’s finally working – awesome! Now I can actually finish collecting everything. But seriously, what *does* this thing even do?

“Every weapon the player has will swap each round, but retain the Pack-a-Punch and rarity level.”

Sounds suitably awful, to me. Who wants to go into battle with the Arc launcher in hand?
