Ilya Kushinov, a highly skilled Russian illustrator, is designing the characters for a new RPG from Compile Heart. Kouji Okada, known for his work on the Persona series, is leading the game’s development.
The game is being created by a team of developers who previously worked at Atlus, featuring scenario designer Tadashi Satomi and sound composer Tsukasa Masuko.
Information is limited at the moment, but 61-year-old Okada – likely approaching retirement – has stated he intends this to be his last message to future generations, according to a translation by Gematsu.
We’ll get a complete look at the game on January 29th, and it’s likely to be announced for the PlayStation 5, as well as other consoles.
