How Savannah Chrisley Guessed Todd & Julie Were on Masked Singer

Savannah Chrisley had a hunch her parents were rising to the occasion. 

Savannah Chrisley quickly figured out that her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, were competing on season 14 of The Masked Singer. She knew it well before the January 14th episode revealed them to be The Croissants.

Todd told TopMob News in an exclusive interview with his wife that they were in their trailer on set when Savannah sent them a message.

She asked me, ‘Dad, are you on The Masked Singer?’ I was so surprised I just said, ‘What?’ She realized then that she’d have to talk to me about it.

Savannah, a former contestant on the reality show herself, immediately called her father and told him to stop his behavior, as she had received information from a source.

Someone asked me if I was on The Masked Singer, and I was confused as to why she’d ask. She explained that someone at the studio had texted her, saying they’d met me and my mom, that we were very nice, and that we were currently filming on the Masked Singer lot.

The reality star repeatedly told his daughter he couldn’t discuss something, even though he claims he and his family share everything with each other.

Even before the singers were announced, Chase Chrisley, the couple’s 29-year-old son, had guessed it might be his parents performing “Jailhouse Rock.”

Todd said he received a message right at the beginning of the season asking, ‘Why are people saying you and your mom are on Masked Singer?’

Julie, who shares 19-year-old Grayson and 13-year-old adopted daughter Chloe with Todd, said her mother-in-law called with a surprising question. Apparently, a friend told her she thought Julie and Todd were competing on The Masked Singer. Her mother-in-law asked if the rumor was true.

Todd and Julie Chrisley, who were released from federal prison after being convicted of fraud and later pardoned in May 2025, were initially unsure about appearing on season 14 of The Masked Singer, with Julie being particularly hesitant.

I was a bit nervous,” the 53-year-old explained to TopMob. “Singing is just not something I do – it’s totally outside of my comfort zone.”

Julie mentioned that Todd is a really talented singer. He’s performed before, even collaborating with Sarah Evans a few years back, and she felt he handled the situation much better than she did.

In the end, the couple decided to participate in the show, mainly because it was an activity they could share as a pair.

“We were sure it would be fun,” Julie said. “We kept it to ourselves, but I saw Savannah doing it, and she really enjoyed it.”
