Fans of the Yakuza series eagerly anticipate each new game because of its exciting fights, moving stories, and funny side quests. Yakuza Kiwami 3 and Dark Ties are no different, and PlayStation has announced a free demo will be available soon for those who want to try the game before purchasing it.
Sega announced this following a recent event for the game. They haven’t announced a release date or what the demo will include, but say more information is coming soon. If this demo follows the pattern of last year’s Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, we can expect it to be released roughly a week before the game itself.
On February 12th, players will be able to get their hands on Yakuza Kiwami 3 and Dark Ties for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. This package includes a rebuilt version of Yakuza 3 using the Dragon Engine, as well as a brand-new story that explores the background of the villain Yoshitaka Mine.
The core story remains the same, but players now have new things to do, like running the Morning Glory orphanage and caring for the children. Kiryu will also try out some unusual jobs – he’ll work as a host named “Kazzy-chan,” lead a motorcycle gang called the Haisai Girls, and build relationships through LaLaLa Loveland.
My character’s story is much grimmer – he frequently ventures into dangerous underworld locations and engages in combat. He can also participate in arena battles for even more intense fighting. Alongside the violence, he completes tasks that improve the reputation of Kanda Damage Control and strengthen his bond with his close friend, Tsuyoshi Kanda.
