Someone found The Last of Us reference in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and it’s hidden in the most bizarre spot you could think of

After quite some time since its release, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 continues to surprise players with an abundance of oddities and Easter eggs scattered throughout the game. Given its intricacy and depth, it’s no wonder that players are still discovering various references. From a hint of Skyrim’s famous phrase, “arrow to the knee,” to the Elden Ring tribute with “let me solo her,” and even a witty Monty Python reference where Henry quips, “tis but a scratch.” However, one of the more skillfully hidden references is to The Last of Us.

What’s worse than finding a snake in your toilet?

The initial downloadable content (DLC) for KCD2 arrives in May, and another update is on the horizon as well. Frankly, we don’t know how we’ll manage to fit it all into our schedules given that there are already more than 150 hours of gameplay awaiting us between exploring the Trosky and Kuttenberg maps and experimenting with the various play styles (such as beginning with all ten negative perks for an extremely tough gaming experience). However, hunting down Easter eggs might just be the most enjoyable and definitely the most beneficial aspect of it.

GijsWauters recently shared their recent find on Reddit, which was uncovered in Suchdol, located in the Kuttenberg region far to the west. Hidden within it was a reference to “The Last of Us,” surprisingly discovered inside… a historic wooden toilet from the medieval era, often referred to as a ‘privy’.

There’s no room for debate: the vibrant colors, the mushroom-like growth on the tree trunk, this location was undeniably inhabited by the infected. And what’s hidden within the hollow bears a striking resemblance to a Clicker skeleton. Initially, it might appear to be something else (be careful not to dwell), but upon observation, it becomes unmistakable. Kudos to whoever spotted this one!
