Gigi Hadid Shines in Gold at Met Gala Post Bradley Cooper Milestone

Gigi Hadid took a page out of the golden linings playbook for her 2025 Met Gala look.

On May 5th, the model, aged 30, shimmered resplendently in a golden Miu Miu gown inspired by Greek designs, during the yearly grand fashion event.

As a dedicated admirer, I couldn’t help but notice that while other attire at the “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme mirrored the elegance of menswear-inspired looks, my custom gown subtly paid tribute to the iconic 1920s and ’30s star, Josephine Baker. Gabriella Karefa-Johnson is the mastermind behind the stylish ensemble, featuring shiny accents to finish off the look perfectly.

Initially, Gigi was photographed departing from the Carlyle Hotel, en route to a grand charity event, where she is consistently among the most eagerly awaited figures in the world of fashion at its pinnacle.

She didn’t have Bradley Cooper with her – the man she was rumored to be dating since October 2023, when they were seen dining together with friends in New York City. However, their relationship has been growing increasingly visible, as they recently made their relationship Instagram official earlier this month.

The previous year, their romance was highlighted when they were caught displaying affectionate public displays (PDA) during a romantic dinner in March and enjoying a Broadway show, specifically “Sweeney Todd”.

However, it’s no surprise that Gigi drew the focus to fashion at the Met Gala, given her longstanding presence on the Met steps since her debut in 2015, where she donned a striking red gown by Diane von Furstenberg. In 2016, she made an appearance with her former partner, Zayn Malik (father of their 4-year-old daughter Khai), both sporting futuristic styles; hers from Tommy Hilfiger and his from Versace.

Bradley has been attending the Met Gala for quite some time, even chairing it back in 2014 under the theme “Charles James: Beyond Fashion”. Four years later, he made the event a romantic outing with his girlfriend at that time, Irina Shayk, and they were seen together again last year’s gala inside the Met. Despite their breakup in 2019, they remain friendly and have been spotted conversing within the Met’s premises. Their daughter Lea is 7 years old now.
