LeAnn Rimes is prioritizing her wellbeing.
Seven months after a surprising onstage mishap where her dentures came loose during a concert, singer LeAnn Rimes shared details about her health journey with a visit to a Nashville health center for a Therapeutic Plasma Exchange.
Next Health offers a treatment costing $10,000 that removes plasma from the blood to cleanse it of inflammation, toxins, and waste. LeAnn, age 43, shared on Instagram that she also included stem cells in her treatment, hoping to boost her body’s natural healing process.
She explained in a recent post that she’s prioritizing rest and recovery after a demanding year of work. She emphasized the importance of listening to her body and giving it the care it needs, as she pushes herself very hard.
In the video, the actress from 9-1-1: Nashville had her blood pressure checked and then received IVs in both arms. She later showed a bag of dark yellow fluid that had been drained from her body.
LeAnn, who is married to Eddie Cibrian, also mentioned she understands not everyone can afford or access this type of treatment. She shared what’s been helping her, not as a recommendation, but simply as information.
The Grammy-winning artist recently shared a story about a concert in Washington state where her dentures unexpectedly came loose mid-performance.

During last night’s performance of ‘One Way Ticket,’ I felt something come loose in my mouth,” she shared in an Instagram video. “As many of you know, I’ve had a lot of dental work done, and the bridge in my front teeth came out while I was singing.”
Luckily, LeAnn quickly fixed the issue and jokingly called it the perfect illustration of keeping a performance going no matter what happens.
She remembered being startled and blurting out, ‘Hold on!’ before quickly running to the side of the stage to fix something and then continuing her performance as if nothing had happened.
Honestly, after hearing about LeAnn’s health, it got me thinking… so many celebrities have been really brave about sharing their own struggles. I just had to find out more, so I kept scrolling to see what other medical scares other stars have dealt with… it’s kind of fascinating, and honestly, makes you feel less alone, you know?

Former Total Bellas star Nikki Bella shared that a breast implant moved out of place after being hit in the elbow by wrestler Piper Niven during a match in July 2025.

She explained to the doctor that as soon as she finished her current commitment, she’d return to address the problem, ensuring everything looked its best for future use. She wanted to make sure things were ready for when they were needed, and didn’t want them to appear in their current condition.

Lupita Nyong’o, known for her role in 12 Years a Slave, received a diagnosis of uterine fibroids—non-cancerous growths in or around the uterus—in 2014, the same year she won an Academy Award for her performance in the film.
She didn’t share her diagnosis until 2025, when she revealed on Instagram that she had been privately struggling with it for over ten years.
Growing up, I was always taught that periods were just supposed to be painful – that it was simply something women had to deal with. It felt like I was supposed to suffer in silence, and it’s frustrating because so many of us go through this, feeling like we’re battling it all alone.

In July 2025, the actress from Daisy Jones & The Six revealed she was hospitalized for a hernia. This happens when a gap develops in the abdominal or groin muscles, and in her case, it was caused by wearing very tight pants.
Someone messaged Suki on X (formerly Twitter), asking why she hadn’t been tweeting lately. The message jokingly revealed a surprising reason for her silence: she claimed she’d injured herself six months ago by wearing very tight pants and had been afraid to mention it.

I was absolutely devastated when I heard about Savannah. The NWSL posted on X that she got immediate medical attention right on the field, and they rushed her to the hospital to check her out. Thankfully, they said she’s stable and alert, which is the best news I could’ve hoped for, but I’m still so worried about her! I’m just sending all my positive energy her way and hoping for a full recovery.

“It’s been awful,” Devine shared on the In Depth With Graham Bensinger podcast in 2025. “I’ve been having spasms all over my body, and doctors told me just recently that my life was in danger—I really thought I was going to die within the last year.”

He described a lingering tingling sensation in his knees and toes during a March 2025 episode of his podcast, Trading Secrets. He explained that just a few weeks or a month prior, he was able to squat 295 pounds, but now he can’t even do a single squat or stand on one leg without falling. He compared the feeling to having a stroke.
But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”

Thankfully, @thebrendanrooney quickly helped, checked her condition, and drove her to the hospital. She was hit five times, with one bullet narrowly missing her right eye by less than an inch.
The former Kim Possible star explained that a small piece of something got stuck behind their eye. Doctors have advised against removing it with surgery right now, and they’ll continue to monitor the situation, as their vision is currently normal.
The actress expressed immense gratitude for surviving a frightening experience. She shared how much she loves her family and friends, saying, “I realized how precious life is, and you should cherish every moment with the people you care about. Things can change so quickly.”

Amy Schumer is grateful for the internet, despite its often harsh nature, because it helped her discover a health issue. After noticing she looked “puffier,” Schumer was surprised when doctors began commenting on her appearance online, suggesting she might have Cushing syndrome. They pointed out significant changes in her face and urged her to get checked. This prompted Schumer to realize she’d been receiving steroid injections after a breast reduction and C-section, which likely caused the condition. She wouldn’t have known about it without the online comments. In a recent newsletter, Schumer expressed relief that her form of Cushing syndrome is temporary and she is healthy.

During a December 2024 game, an American Hockey League player was accidentally cut in the face by another player’s skate and needed 25 stitches to close the wound. In March 2022, Hailey Bieber experienced a frightening health scare while having breakfast with her husband, Justin Bieber. She suddenly developed stroke-like symptoms, initially unable to respond when Justin asked if she was okay. She then realized she couldn’t speak and the right side of her face began to droop.
Although her speech and facial movement eventually returned, Hailey went to the hospital where doctors discovered she’d had a small blood clot travel to her brain, causing a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack).
Further testing at UCLA revealed Hailey had a hole in her heart, called a patent foramen ovale (PFO). Doctors determined the blood clot had passed through this hole and traveled to her brain, causing the TIA.
Hailey successfully underwent a procedure to close the PFO and is now doing well.

Oh my gosh, it was such a scary time! The same year Hailey was dealing with her health issues, Justin went through something awful too. In June 2022, he revealed he’d been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome – I was so worried! It basically caused paralysis on one side of his face. He posted a video on Instagram explaining everything, and it was heartbreaking to see. He couldn’t blink, couldn’t smile, even eating was becoming difficult! He showed how the side of his face just wouldn’t move, and I honestly cried. Thankfully, things started to get better, and Hailey said he was doing really well and feeling much better. She was so relieved, and honestly, so was I! It was a really random and frightening thing to happen, but she kept saying he’d be totally okay, and I just breathed a sigh of relief knowing he was on the mend. I’m just so grateful he’s doing better now!

Jamie Foxx recently shared details about the serious health scare he experienced in April 2023, which he had initially kept private. In his 2024 Netflix special, What Had Happened Was…, he explained that he was suffering from a severe headache when he suddenly lost consciousness. He doesn’t remember the next twenty days.
He initially saw a doctor who gave him a cortisone shot and sent him home, but his sister, Deidra Dixon, was worried and took him to the hospital. Doctors discovered he’d suffered a brain bleed that led to a stroke.
Twenty days after surgery, on May 4th, Jamie woke up in a wheelchair unable to walk. He then went to Chicago for extensive rehabilitation and therapy. He expressed his gratitude for the prayers he received, saying, “I needed every prayer.”

While filming the series, she experienced a sudden, severe headache during a gym workout. She described collapsing and being violently ill, quickly realizing something was seriously wrong with her brain.
A hospital scan revealed she had suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), a life-threatening stroke caused by a ruptured aneurysm. She immediately underwent surgery to repair it, but the pain was excruciating. During her recovery, she experienced aphasia, leaving her unable to speak coherently.
Though the aphasia eventually passed and she was discharged after a month, a 2013 scan revealed the aneurysm had doubled in size, requiring a second surgery. This procedure initially failed, causing a massive bleed and putting her life at risk. Doctors had to perform a more invasive surgery, accessing her brain directly through her skull.
Fortunately, Emilia reports she has now made a full recovery and is at 100%.

Shailene Woodley struggled with significant health issues throughout her early twenties. In a September 2024 podcast interview, she described a time when she was losing her hearing, unable to walk for more than a few minutes without needing to rest for hours, and experiencing constant stomach pain. She faced conflicting diagnoses from different doctors. Determined to find answers, Woodley, who prefers to keep her specific condition private, combined traditional medical care with holistic and herbal remedies. This search for well-being lasted for ten years. The physical discomfort led to emotional challenges, including fear of food and struggles with body image and identity. Ultimately, Woodley’s health improved, and she is now happy to report that she is fully recovered and feeling well.
